Same here but now I'm thinking it may not be sarcastic

Still, RealGM and HoopsWorld? Not the finest sources in the sporting world. I'll believe it when I hear it from a legit reporter.

If dwight stays, D-Will is available. If dwight goes we are the highest bidders. - D-Moreys mind set.

Exactly. Chris Kaman's value is a second round pick. He is way more valuable than that, but hornets are unwilling to take on any salary. It is imperative they move Okafor.

FOX Sports Ohio's Sam Amico tweeted the rumor this morning:
The Hornets reportedly are willing to trade either of their two first-round picks (each pick is expected to land in the lottery) so long as a trade partner accepts Emeka Okafor as well. Okafor has a fatty contract that will pay him $28 million in salary after this season. He's currently averaging ten points and eight rebounds.

I hope somebody punches Dwight Howard in the face the next time he steps on the court.

Dwight Howard Confirms He'll Sign Opt-In Before Deadline
    Mar 15, 2012 1:35 AM EDT

Dwight Howard has confirmed that he will opt-in for the 12-13 season in an exclusive interview with RealGM's Jarrod Rudolph.

Howard will formally sign the contract in the morning on Thursday.

Howard was apologetic for putting the organization through the "circus" that has followed him in recent days and vows to be better moving forward.

Over the course of Wednesday, Howard appeared to be indecisive on his wishes for the 12-13 season in the face of a possible trade from the Magic. The organization informed Howard they would seek a trade if he couldn't give them an assurance of his desire to remain beyond the current season.

More details of the interview to follow shortly.

Wow I wasn't aware of that. It's pretty crappy for the original team and the player.

    LINK

So if Dwight Howard wants to sign with a team with cap space (like Dallas or New Jersey) this summer, neither he nor his new team has any incentive to work out a sign-and-trade deal with Orlando. However, if he wanted to sign with a team that was over the cap (like the Lakers) or not under the cap enough to sign him, then that team would need to work out a sign-and-trade with the Magic.

The sign-and-trade rule change could affect the leverage in a potential Howard deal at the deadline. The Magic have additional leverage over Howard, knowing that if he wants to leave Orlando in the summer, he'll definitely have to sign a shorter deal with his new team. But the Nets also have additional leverage over the Magic, because Orlando's not getting anything back if they keep Howard past the deadline and he ultimately chooses to play in Brooklyn next season.

That's a 30 Million loss over 5 years. No sane NBA player has walked away from that kind of money. As good a guy as Yao was he never offered to throw away money but resigning early while he didn't play for a year. There is a risk Howard will walk but I think Morey is willing to bet a lot that he won't.

ANd I think Morey might be right. If Howard wasn't about the money he could have signed that ETO waiver today. But he didn't because the bottom line is if he gets injured he might lose out on the biggest contract of his career. (okay he signed it. Maybe Howard isn't all about the money)

That's also why the Nets are offering everything they got at this moment because they no getting Howard for nothing this off season is a big risk. Why else would they do it. They can truly get Howard for nada this off season. There is no advantage for Howard to do a sign and trade.

hm... thats confusing lol. Cleveland was probably offering A.Jamison who is exp for 15 mill and is avg 18 and 7 a game. That seems like the exact deal N.O would want.
