There were reports they were making the pick available to dump okafur's contract. Im sure they would want more than that but certainly less than orlando will want for dwight.

They are going to try to dump Hedo on any team. Not a bad player, but a bad contract on a rebuilding team.

I do not listen to obscure twitter writers for my source of news. It hardly ever turns out true.

Not their first pick. Their Minny pick maybe, in the right deal. I wouldn't take back Okafor for #13

If he does end up opting-in tomorrow in the morning, then Dwight is the biggest troll on the face of the planet and I'll never respect him again.

It happened last year when the clippers esssentially traded Irving to the Cavs in a Baron Davis salary dump. Okafor is owed 28 mill over the next two years. New Orleans is desperate to get rid of all salary right now.

Every f***ing year I get sucked into all of this nonsense. I F5 the s*** out of my keyboard hoping to see some good news. I gather up all of this hope SOMETHING will happen. Well f*** it, in honor of the lockout the NBA had I will have my own lockout...until the morning where I will be back to be destroyed by reality.

Common sense specifies it. Okafor is not that bad of a player or that bad of a contract. It's silly to think they'd give up the #2 pick in a loaded draft for a little salary relief after the hardball they played RE: the CP3 trade.

Again, I ask: WTF is Dwight doing an interview with some scrub reporter from RealGM at 1:52 AM in the morning before a trade deadline?

Would getting rid of Okafor be attractive to any prospective owners?

If so I could see it happening. The Hornets #1 priority right now should be finding a new owner afterall.

Look, if it's possible to get that pick for so little, I'm sure Morey will do it. Don't be surprised when it doesn't happen though.

This report makes it sound like NO won't do it for salary relief:

I'm not buying any of this, could be wrong but I think it's BS.
