I wouldn't want to give up Jordan Hill in that deal...he has big potential.

Of course you would do that, why the hell would the Magic.

    WTF.

Even if it's true (it's not true till his name's on the dotted line) I bet Orlando trades him anyway. They've had enough of his shenanigans.

Just FYI, there is no way New Orleans is giving up their first pick for a team to take back Okafur

First the Stern nixed trade and now this. Morey must be frustrated beyond words.

I this is true, hope we go after D-Will! No way he signs with the Nets this offseason.

That's why you don't do it unless Howard is going to commit.

Keep your draft picks and whatever prospects you are high on. The only reason I'd even throw in Morris is because of Parsons/Bud but no way am I throwing in D-Mo.

Sure he may bust but he may as well be our next All-star big man. I'm willing to say there is a better chance of D-Mo being a All-star for the Rockets than Howard being one.

If Howard is going to bolt (which seems very likely) the team needs to be prepared for that. Give the Magic a Nuggets type of deal I think.

Magic do this trade because they are going to be similar to the Nuggets of the East. They'll have depth at PG spot with Lowry and Nelson. Depth at SG. Get a Young player in Morris. I think it's a good deal for them and they get rid of Hedo which is something they will try to do in any Howard deal.

Rockets do this trade for Howard obviously. But also they keep most of their young players. Lose Lowry but I think Dragic could handle the spot given that Howard is the new Center of the team. Lee would start at SG. PPat would start at PF and give you a physical frontcourt and you have the beat still backing up Howard.

Plus you keep all your draft picks to address sudden needs like back up PF and PG.

    Talk is cheap.

Either way if it is true I'm sure Howard has changed his mind 15 minutes after saying it.

My thinking exactly. A RealGm columnist with 3k followers on twitter and if he was apologizing don't you think it would be through a bigger media outlet

I think the deal breaker will be what salary the Magic can dump on the team they're trading Dwight to. In that regard, we are much more likely to absorb a bad contract than any of the other rumored trade targets.

Why is Dwight doing an interview with some scrub reporter from RealGM at 1:52 AM in the morning before a trade deadline?
