What is the most likely trade scenario for Rox/Magic trade from our side?

 

Lowry, Lee, Parsons, Patterson, Howard

I don't care if I, DD, Clutch the Bear, and Brad Miller have to come off the bench. This needs to happen.

 

Also, the Magic are pissed at Dwight so they probably don't want to give him to NJ and let him have that extra $30M playing for his favored team. Plus, they can entertain the hope that Morey talks Dwight into an extension and they don't have to play against him in the East.

Is it still true (in a year the player is traded) that the team could resign a FA for more $$ than if they walk and sign somewhere else? If DHo were to get traded to us, would he take millions (how much??) less to go to NJ, rather than try to get DWill to come to Houston? Of course, if this is true, you could say the same for DWill getting DHo to come to NJ.

 

He has jammed their phone lines by calling them constantly. Morey is wants to make sure no other calls get through which will make them think nobody is interested. Morey that slick Bas*ard :d

 

I've been sitting here all day pressing refresh! Orlando just do something already!!!!

 

I hope Morey has a backup plan. Worst case is we don't get Dwight Howard and Morey is left scrambling to get something done within a few hours of the deadline.

 

If we land Howard does that increase our chances in being able to sign Deron Williams which i turn keeps Howard here? Please let it be Morey!

Only if we talk Howard into signing an extension... I personally think we have at least a CHANCE to convince him to stay here which would in turn probably bring D-Will (playing with Howard in Houston > playing with Dirk in Dallas).

 

I remember the last time we rented a star player, the city was electric.

They probably offered them Gerald Green now that the guy has been doing so well over the past few games.

 

What could they offer? I've been through their roster....Marshon Brooks and Brooks Lopez are IT. Nothing else. Nada. They shipped their good picks out to Utah for Deron.

 

Any proposed deal has to include Kyle Lowry, I would think.

NJ constantly leaking their offer smacks of desperation. Notice how Morey always keeps it on the down low. I'm sure trade partners appreciate that.

I remember and darn if Drayton never made a serious run at signing him after the season. He then did the same thing with Carlos Beltran.
