I don't know why Brook is such a valuable piece. He's a 7 foot center averaging 3.6 REBOUND PER GAME.

Yeah since I got bottom page'd, let me repeat this.

Brook Lopez, the magical center piece in the potential Dwight to Jersey trade, is averaging 3.6 REBOUNDS PER GAME.

    i'll tell you what...

i've been pretty darn anti-morey, but i applaud him for being smart enough to see that this is a no-brainer of a move.

we make the playoffs this year, and who knows how far we can get, but either he stays here, or he leaves and we rebuild.

hope it happens, and good job for attempting it, DM.

Haters are going to hate... He is no good rebounder but 3.6 is just temporary... He is around 6 rebounds for career

You said it he is valuable because he is a young "7 foot center" and in today NBA there arnt to many of those...

I am really not sure why we should gut our team for Dwight Howard. It is not like we would win a championship this year. The only reason would be to hope he would sign a long term deal in Houston, but that will not happen.

    I didn't believe this.

Yep, 3.6 Rebs/game for a 7ft starting center who for some reason can get in the low post and score 19ppg but can't grab 4 boards...

the only reason i can see why dwight's agent would want him to be traded to houston. is so when dwight leaves the rockets for the nets the nets' players/assets haven't been stripped from the team.

Lopez is a scrub. I follow the Nets. Avery broke that guys spirit. He is big for nothing. I'd rather have Lowry by far

6 rebounds from a center, lol... I would take Lowry by himself over Brook Lopez + the Nets draft pick (under the assumption that its value gets wrecked by Howard joining forces with D-Will).

i want to hope this would end well for us, but if we do get dwight it might end in tears.

I would trade anyone and everyone minus Parsons and Lowry in order to get him though even as a rental because even if dwight leaves we can finally blow it up and start fresh

Looking at the Nets roster, I was surprised how few 'assets' they really have. Besides Deron, they've got Brooks Lopez and Marshon Brooks....that's it.

Of course the Lakers have Bynum, but will they trade the #2 center in the league that is already under contract and showing great improvement for the #1 that won't commit to an extension?

We can beat NJs offer easily, but probably not the Lakers. I think we're in great position to make this happen.

How about Martin, Patterson, Dalembert, Budinger and NY #1 for Howard and Turk.

Magic doesn't like Nets assets, has been reported many times  Maybe they're not answering calls because Morey's offer is ALREADY better and they're just trying to get a lil more out of him.
