NYC has played more than 40 games with Melo on the team. Are you saying they only played 9 crap teams (8-1 during linsanity) and then played contenders the rest of the way? Results are in Melo is a loser.

Knicks' problem is NOT about the coach, nor the players. Knicks' problem is they have an idiot owner.

Knicks will suck as long as James Dolan is their owner.

Woody has no choice but to take a difference stance from D'Antoni or he will get the same result. Right now is when his leverage is maximized and he can't throw it all away like D'Antoni did.

I expect Woody will tell all the Knicks players they can play his way or get splinters on the bench. As interim coach, he has one at-bat and should come out swinging hard and not worry about offending anyone. 24 games isn't much time.

And also, how convenient is it that the moment Billups joined the Nuggets, that very same season the Nuggets went to the WCF?

Melo couldn't do it with a deep and talented team, so they had to get a real winner in Billups.

Dolan is terrible, wouldn't let Walsh do his job (Walsh was doing a good job)

Walsh left the Knicks last season after Dolan made him trade the lot for Melo.

Deron, D'antoni's system, Amare, Chandler, Fields, Novak, Lin, rest of squad could have done some damage..

Article supports another idea. Even Lin is not listening... He is doing his own stuff but just no debates, and no whining about this... He keeps it quiet.

I'm just happy that Dantoni is out of the league. Hopefully we're seeing the last of the gimicky all offense no defense system in this league. Whenever Nash leaves the Suns (or retires) it'll be completely gone!

And, oh look...the Knicks are taking it to the Blazers up 37-16.

Yep. They are the perfect team to walk into New York and hand the Knicks a bounce-back blowout right after a coaching change.
