Dr Steelhammer just passed Louis and Marciano with his 50th KOs against Jean Mark Mormeck. The legend continues................!
Mormeck maybe a joke but he's the one willing to fight Wladimir. You can only fight what's in front of you.
Klitschkos are shady with the pathetic guys they fight against. 39 years old, seriously? Chisora lost his two last fights but gets to fight vs. Vitali? This is a joke, everyone is handpicked so that they win. F.ckin fight Haye again to settle this. The next in the rankings are Povetkin, Helenius, Adamek, Arreola. Fight these guys or otherwise you'll look like a joke.
Vitali has already fought and beat Adamek and Arreloa. Chisora was robbed horribly against Helenius. Haye is a damn bum that doesn't even deserve another big payday. Even if they fought, he'd get his ass toe-tally beat. Seriously, between the two brothers, there aren't many quality HW left that they have not fought. There aren't many quality HWs period.
Check the top ten -- they've fought most of them and one of brothers had a fight set with the current #1 (though he was around #5 at the time), but his trainer (Atlas) nixed the fight because he wasn't ready.
Chisora was #15, Mormeck was #10. So why do you say that if I'm not completely wrong on my statement?
Chisora loses boxing license Earlier today the British Boxing Board of Control withdrew former British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora’s boxing boxing license due in part to the brawl Chisora was involved in after his loss to WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko last month on February 18th in Munich, Germany. Chisora met before the BBBofC on Wednesday in Cardiff and the result was Chisora’s boxing license was withdrawn for an indefinite period of time. Chisora’s promoter Frank Warren said to sportinglife.com “His license got withdrawn and what will happen now is we’ll consider whether to appeal the decision.” Chisora has only 14 days to appeal his ban. With an indefinite ban, Chisora could get his boxing license back after a certain period of time such as six months or more. However, without a date being given it puts pressure on him to start making other plans such as fighting outside of the UK. Chisora could be taking a risk by sitting and waiting for the ban to lift because there’s a possibility that it never will. He could wait six months, one year or permanently. That’s the negative about a ban without a definite time frame involved. It almost forces Chisora to make a quick decision about whether he’s willing to wait for something that may never happen. http://www.boxingnews24.com/2012/03/chisora-loses-boxing-license-by-the-bbbofc/
PS: Not knowing the complete rankings(even though I was right on Chisora not being in the top10 and Mormeck not being the next in line) determines if I know boxing? That makes no sense in any direction, I followed the fights in all relevant weight classes my whole life.
It maybe dead to you but I can assure you that it's alive and thriving to me and especially in Europe. Don't buy into the lie just because we don't have an American champion that boxing is dead.
Your ignorant comment about the brothers leads me to my statement not because you don't know the ranking of a fighter. If you claim that you know about boxing and follow the fight game, you would not say such thing about the Klitschkos. A lot of these yappy Pekingnese fighters made the mistakes of provoking the brothers until they stepped into the ring and realized they are out of their league. This is not my saying but this came from a lot of boxing experts. The brothers are 24/7 fighters, aside from their obvious physical, mental attributes, they stay in-shape year around. Lots of fighters tend to blow up when they're not in training camp. The brothers actually lose weights when they're not fighting. They have total commitment to the fight game, to beat them you have to bring your A+ game and then some.
When did I say they are overrated, where were my statements ignorant and put them down? I say think are the best heavyweights in many years but their opponents often are not the best available, many times they faced washed up opponents(Mormeck nearly 40 years old), or guys like Chisora which lost their last few fights and weren't even in the top 10. I never said that they aren't heads above the rest of the heavyweight division, I absolutely think they could beat anyone in their weight class. But you seem to took it as a shot against the Klitschkos, which was not my intention. I'm one of the guys that followed their whole career and thinks they're very underrated, especially on their boxing style and skills. I also love their personality and have nothing but respect for them. My original point was that they sometimes don't seem to box the best guy available, instead their management picking a "bad guy" and hyping him for more money and publicity, knowing they'll win anyways. Let's see the fight vs. Mormeck, Klitschko said: "Mormeck is the best opponent I ever had" and "he reminds me of Tyson". Even Mormeck laughed about that and dismissed it. They try to hype these handpicked guys to make the fights look interesting, even if we all know the opponent is not worthy of a shot at the title. Their promoter/manager is one of the money hungriest and shadiest guys in the business and no one trusts him. It's somewhat obvious he uses the brothers for his own purposes instead of looking for the best fights. No one wants to see fights vs. guys like Chisora, Briggs or Mormeck, these guys had nothing left in their tank or never proved anything. They have to schedule fights vs. Haye, Povetkin, Boytsov, these guys are the best available. Every other opponent right now in a joke. Guys like Boytsov and Povetkin destroyed everyone, yet they don't get a shot, doesn't make any sense to let scrubs like Chisora or Mormeck fight. I know they had a Povetkin fight in the works and it didn't happen, but why not reschedule? Same with Haye, the Klitschko management is obviously lying.
I read in one of the articles (Men's Fitness) a few years back that Wladimir's people always keeping an eye on him when it comes to hitting the iron. Wlad tends to pick up muscles so fast that they actually restricted his weight lifting regimen. Wlad is a truly awesome specimen.
