Woodson is an ISO coach. Expect Lin to become a backup to B-diddy and Melo to control the ball.

Knicks schedule looks fairly difficult made even more so with the bucks upgrade. Don't they play like 3 times?

Wish I could of seen Morey's reaction to this news. They can kiss the playoffs goodbye.

Lin, not so much. One scout says Baron Davis's skills fit better. Another says change "probably going to cost Lin millions in new contract."

Sounds like Lin is gonna be back-up.

Sounds like Morey is going to get a chance to redeem himself in the offseason.

Great news for the Rockets if that's the case.

The new Knicks head coach sure is doing a great job babysitting all the crying players in the Locker room.

Bench the one hard working, humble player and quiet player who was responsible for giving the Knicks' hope, because he won't complain if he came off the bench. Also because the washed up Baron Davis demanded more playing time.

Woodson benching Lin will be a miracle for the Rockets, it just shows that he caves in to his players' demand, no matter how crap they are.

Well I dont think they can catch Washington, NOLA, or Bobcats. I hope Sac Town and NJ continue to suck!

Usually there are a couple of wins after getting rid of a coach that isn't liked by his team - a cross between relief and showing the new coach (even an interm) what you bring to the table. But I don't expect this to last too long.

Not that it matters but I think Sloan may be the next perm NYK coach for 2012-13 which I think will help them out of this hole.

Depends on the system they run and if the coaches believe that the system had a lot to do with Lin's success.

If the Knicks continue to fall apart, they could very well end up with the #6 pick, which is our dream scenario. I doubt they'll "catch up" to the Wizards, Bobcats, or Nets.

As a person but not as a coach.

    http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/sto...new-york-knicks-locker-room-according-sources

Mike D'Antoni has lost the locker room of the Knicks, according to several sources.

"The players like Mike as a person," one source said. "They think he's a good guy. But he doesn't have the respect of the team anymore."

Players are complaining about playing time and are confused about the offensive and defensive schemes.

    It's not about Lin's success.

Do you honestly think that Baron Davis, in any system, is better than Lin? I don't believe any coach has designed a system good enough that he could turn a scrub into a superstar level PG.

This has more to do with the fact that Davis is complaining about lack of playing time. How convenient is it that the two players who openly reported that they are dissatisfied with the system are the immediate benefactors of the new system?

If healthy, yes. But it takes more than a month of ball for me to anoit someone.

I don't know how much of Lin's success was tied to the system or the schedule. That's the issue with such a small sample size.
