Lesson learned.

 

Why in the world would New Jersey trade Brooks to Houston? If anyting they trade Deron Williams because he might opt out for next season due to Howard no longer coming to the Nets. Brooks is a rookie to build with, and has become their most attractive trade asset outside of their draft picks. This deal would make no sense for them.

Martin could be in play for possibly Humphries and the rights back for their 2012 pick rights. That would be the only thing that remotely makes sense if the Rockets arent gambling on Deron Williams. Martin's deal expires next year, but I doubt they would make this deal because it would put their young rookie Brooks on the bench. Plus, I dont know how good New Jersey wants to be next year if they plan on trading for Howard again next year.

That being said, Humphries is sure to be moved, any deal would most likely involve him. If you can find a way to get him, you might be able to get that pick back.

Howard sources confirm WFTV re[port as legit... he told team this afternoon... word is Magic involved in 3 team deal involving Josh Smith

 

He said earlier in the season about signing somewhere in Texas or Florida. Not sure if that means he would be open to signing with Houston or Orlando, but I guess it could give us some leverage; Home state, lower cost of living, no state tax (Florida too).

Marshon Brooks. I really think this kid is going to be special.

I wouldn't gamble on Deron returning. Better to unload Martin and Scola's contracts, pickup a rising star in Brooks, maybe a backup PG in Farmar (which allows you to float Dragic in the summer), and recoup your draft pick.

 

Houston is close 2 Dallas if we get him here he will realize how much better Houston is than Dallas and dat everything he wanted in Dallas friends and family coming 2 games being close 2 home and even though they do got dirk a superstar he can play with we are only like a half a game behind them in da standings Dallas is done dey got lucky lebron choked and dey got der first championship but it's over 4 dem it's all about Houston Wer up and coming and Dwight will notice dat and Wer a bigger market city
