this thread is weak. Not long ago the Rockets managent had a contest for a fan to win game calling time "LIVE ON THE AIR" That dude did his best and ............. Those that did not win the contest ...know what happened zzpot.
Well said... and good point. So is Bill still a homer as posters call him in the chat room and on the BSS boards or is he more or less telling it like he see's it. Do you and others know that Bill and Bull and other reporters all (RIDE WITH THE TEAM ON THE SAME F---ING PLANE) from game to game?? They all eat together... stay and sleep in the same places.. Yet....screw it ... why in the hell should I go on.. (It breaks down to.. is the grass greener on the other side.. walk a mile in another mans shoes)... etc. zzpot.
if anything bill has a high stand on sportsmanship, i mean im sure if he could he would trash talk about the other team. the man has a job to obtain, and this is the way he keeps it. hasnt changed much over the years. only the listeners and players.
Worrell sounds really depressed this year, I would not be surprised if he retires after this season. He's never been this down on the team before. There's probably several reasons: playing ugly, players treated like assets, being stuck with Drexler and Bullard, trade not gone through and of course Leslie...just...leslie.
I don't know of any sports casters that have stayed in the game by just trash talking other teams or players, Refs, coaches, GM's, Town's of other teams, ect... As for next year... you do know that Fox Sports Network will not have the Rockets and Astros games. The 2 teams (Rockets and Astros will have their every own TV channel... ) I have no idea how it will work or even if Bill and Bull will crossover to it. You tell me! zzpot. ( did I get this right?)
