Zaza misses a point blank layup at the buzzer and Nuggets get the win. It was as pitiful a play as it sounds...
SacTown needs to make a comeback against GSW and cap off this great NBA night. Aren't the Warriors playing shorthanded?
Wow Dwight made 6/18 FT's. Is there just no hope for the dude to increase his %? Reminds me of how much more dominant Shaq would have been had he been able to shoot 70% from the line.
I'll post this here instead of the GARM because it's about OKC. Tonight should show everyone why Scott Brooks doesn't have a contract extension yet. For him to take the ball out of Harden's hands when he was shredding the Rockets was just plain stupid. I don't know who they would replace him with, but Brooks holds that team back. Last season, what happened tonight occurred so many times it ain't funny. Tonight was worse because it was later in the game and so abrupt. I've seen OKC collapse in the final minutes a bunch of times and lack of focus is usually the main reason. Tonight was mostly about Brooks' flawed coaching. On the bright side, I'm more pumped about the Rockets after tonight. I was so disgusted after the Celtics game, I almost couldn't watch them anymore. Still not over it yet.
Blow out win for the Warriors and they don't have Curry or Ellis. They also traded all their starting center Udoh while Biedrins had been playing garbage mins for the last month. What happened to Chuck Hayes? Another contract year player who got comfortable after signing his big contract?
Nah, you know our Chuck ain't like that. From what I've seen, the Kings seem to have no idea how to utilize him. A great defender that excels at high post passing has no place in the bullsh-t schemes that team runs.
Hayes was playing big minutes early on in the season, it just dropped down considerably after the shoulder injury if I'm correct. I think this is what a lot of posters were saying about Hayes. Hayes is a very very good player, for the Rockets, because most other teams wouldn't know how to use him. Kind of reminds me of when RA first took over, he was giving Hayes quite a bit of minutes at first because Hayes was already starting under JVG. RA didn't know how to utilize him and eventually benched him, and his minutes diminished significantly in the 2009 season. After Yao's injury, RA was forced to play him and realized that Hayes is actually pretty good. Then once RA utilized him in the offense, he became our cornerstone on offense and defense. Not sure if the King's will ever figure out how to use Hayes though.
I can't remember where, but I remember reading that JVG despises Dolan and vice versa. Really, that's the Knick's biggest problem, their crap owner.
That would be serious shock therapy. JVG isn't creative enough offensively, which would be a problem, but he would take full advantage of Perkins in the middle and OKC's athleticism and their defense would be all-world. Maybe.
