It would be closer than people think. Dunno why people don't give the Rockets any credit.

We did get blown out once by them but we didn't have Lowry and our team was just coming together at that point of the season.

We can definitely push them to the brink.

Are they a better team? yeah. But the gulf isn't astronomical. We do need another big big body to bang with them.

Regular season is NOT the playoffs!

There's been plenty times a team contended with another team in the regular season, then got 4-0 or 3-1 against them in the post season.

I'm sorry but the Thunder would win it 4-2, and that would be reaching!

Come on guys.. The Thunder are elite now. Durant is a monster, and they are DEEP. We're barely getting to the playoffs..

Thunder would kick our ass so bad.

It would be a 3 game sweep in a 7 game series.

I have been arguing this point with a few friends for the last few weeks. If we happen to make the playoffs I would like our chances against them for the fact that they don't have anyone that can dominate us offensively in the paint with a post up game. If you look at all the teams that give us the most trouble are the ones with dominating post players, ie Minnesota. The Lakers and a healthy Memphis would destroy us as well. San Antonio would probably give us fits as well but not as bad since Duncan has lost a step. Even the Clippers would be tough matchup with Blake and DeAndre and of course Chris Paul.

    Bring on OKC!

Will Durant score 80 in the playoffs or something? Hell, they should get less bull**** calls that they get in the regular season.

    OKC is beatable.

To think that we would get absolutely destroyed is bull****.

What is so different about the playoffs?

Hell, the Pacers last year were pretty competitive against the Bulls.

This Thunder team is not the Miami Heat.

Dragic steps it up in the playoffs too. Lee has made the finals once and has been through the experience. Scola has made it to the second round of the playoffs. It's not like we don't have experience.

Hell yeah we can beat them. I knew we were going to beat them tonight. Durant gets shutdown by parsons and it's up Westbrook to save the team.

Well both of our wins were Durant missing good looks at a game winner.

I think we can BUT if it comes down to that, I doubt that would happen in the postseason.

If we meet them in the playoffs, our best hope is for them to not remember tonight's game. Or else they would mop the floor with us.

Saying this makes it sound as if you've never watched a nba playoff series or any playoff series at that!

If you're counting on a rookie Parsons to "shut down" Kevin Durant in a 7 game playoff series...your in for a rude awakening.

Your right though, they are not the heat!

even if it goes 7 games, I don't think we'd be able to win a game 7 against them.

We have some interesting match ups defensively with Dragic and Lowry on Westbrooke and Parsons on Durant.

It will be a lot closer than you think because they are pretty dependent on those two to put up big points.

We probably won't beat them in a series though unless we have different guys go off for 4 games and Parsons, Lee, Dragic and Lowry play superb defense on Durant and Westbrook.

You need to win 4 games to sweep a 7 game series.
