Manslaughter if it was an accident, but I seriously doubt street...he provoked an innocent kid and shot him in the chest. This is murder and this piece off trash needs to sit in a cell and surround him with real thugs and animals he seems to want to protect his community from.

On my way home today, I spotted a young black male in a hoody carrying a plastic bag. Immediately, I noticed this was suspicious since he was obviously out past sundown which is the legal curfew for all blacks. I thought about what could possibly be in the bag. I figure it has to be narcotics, illegal handguns, fried chicken, purple drink, watermelon, or some combination of those items. I was going to call 911 and report this aggressive black man, but I figured, what would that do, since they never come in time. Then I was going to follow him, but then realized I don't own a gun to shoot him when he asks me why I'm following him. What a terrible dilemma it was. Then I thought about it some more, and figured, he probably got hungry and just went to grab a snack at the local gas station.
I will call out anyone who jumps to conclusions based on a biased media report. There's a LOT of people in this thread just itchin' and hoping that this salacious tale of big bad whitey preying upon the helpless African-American is true. So much so that they've taken the biased story about it and formed their own conclusions. I, on the other hand, have been asking for the facts since the beginning. The original story does not provide enough to make a decision. I've exposed a lot of shallow thinkers and hateful posters in this thread, and for that, I am pleased.

It looks like the big piece of information missing here is who started the fight. If Martin did, Zimmerman likely gets away with the "self-defense" claim; if it was Zimmerman, it's gonna suck to be him for awhile. My big disappointment with the article (and with most of the posts in this thread) is the spotlight on race here. It's just bad journalism and downright SICKENING if you ask me.
