Put me down for the "unrealistic rental". I say go for the gusto and get the best. Show him a plan for the future and sell him on the team. If he refuses to sign he walks and we get a few years with a lot more ping pong balls in the annual draft lottery than have been getting.

Gasol would provide the most talent and size. If they could get him without giving up Lowry, it's a no-brainer. Hate the Howard idea without an extension. It's just too risky.

Monta Ellis cause he would be a huge upgrade over K Mart and would be an excellent fit with K.Lowry

ok honestly speaking, why would you choose anyone over Josh Smith. Howard is unrealistic, so that's why i didn't vote for him. The next best after Josh Smith is Pau Gasol, so are you kidding me? lol JSmoove ftw baby.

Josh Smith is better though. better defense. younger. better contract. higher upside. plus Gasol is not coming to Houston, unless we give them KLow, and if we're giving up KLow, it should be for someone younger and for someone that has untapped potential, Gasol will be no more than a 18-10 guy for the rest of his career. Smith, on the other hand, can be a 23-12 guy in a few years, along with 2-3 blocks and a steal or two per game.

that's true but i don't think we want to go from offensive player to another offensive player. i would much rather start Courtney Lee and get a legit PF/C then get a better KMart.

    1) Ellis is not an upgrade from Martin.
    2) He would play even worse next to Lowry than Martin--Ellis needs the ball in his hands to get his points.

2012 ellis is an upgrade over 2012 Martin
if you don't agree, then you must be only checking out the GARM section of ClutchFans, why don't you check out the NBA DISH section once in a while. you'll know the entire league better.

Lol it's not even close this year and in the past year it was closer.

22ppg better than Martin's meagre 17 points and his zero points on the road.
Ellis rebounds the ball at 3.5 rebounds..... and assists better, because he is a SG in a PG's body, whole other approach here. He can play PG in spurts... so problem solved in this way and he is a good stealer in the mold of Kyle or CP3.
    Steal rate: 1.5 to 1.7

He is passionate and more active than Martin. The funny fact that is not real funny, Monta weighs at 6'3 the same as 6'7 Martin Stick figure.

    1. He can play 37 minutes a game... good endurance
    2. He can handle the rock better
    3. He won't disappear in the 4th quarter
    4. He won't score 0 on the road and is a fairly good contributor overall and on the ROAD
    5. He is not really mentally weak

He is not really efficient, nor has good size... but everyone has flaws. and his is not really that great
He is the allstar that has never been voted one.

Wow Josh Smith is winning! I thought I would be one of the only ones wanting to see some highlight dunks.

JSmoove playing next to Dally would turn a strength into a weakness. 2 r****ds throwing up junk would kill our offensive efficiency.

Bogut, still young, and his injuries are just bad luck, + i dont think the bucks will be greedy if we take Jackson's contract

but i'd like to take Aldrich from OKC if we dont make a big move

I'll vote Deron. If Orlando is able to swing a deal for Ellis and Dwight commits to stay, NJ would likely be looking to move him.

    LOL at Josh Smith.

Do not want an undersize 4, who has no offensive game outside of dunks. Dude can't hit a jumper to save his life. Much rather develop Patterson then let that overrated douche on this team.
