You gotta admit that the way Maxwell quit on the team in 95 probably sealed his fate to be left off the all-90s team. No disrespect to Vernon. He was huge in 94, but those kind of things are not easily forgotten by the organization.

ID be happy with a lineup of:
    C Olajuwon
    PF Thorpe
    SF Horry
    SG Drexler
    PG Smith or Cassell

As I mentioned a billion times, this was water under the bridge when Maxwell came back with the Sixers, all hugs and smiles with the old team.

OT and Maxwell were more than just '94'. They were key to the turnaround of the Rockets post Sampson.
As I mentioned in the other thread, OT was a freaking Iron Man, starting every damn game.

    No DNP in OT.

    For Max and OT:

    We care about you

This travesty is the last straw, F the Rockets, I will never buy any merchandise and I hope ratings go down even further! I suggest all the fans will boycott the Warriors game when the rigged team of the 90s is honoured and stop watching tv. Just watch streams.

uh, no. they show footage before every single home game of the Dream On/Aerosmith montage that features Maxwell hitting that 3 over Starks to seal Game 7 and Cassell hitting big shots in MSG. they show OT as well.

its not rigged. according to the votes in here, there are 5 players (not including hakeem) that have more votes than OT.

OT should be there, but people didnt vote for him, which is too sad :(

I was driving home listening to the broadcast of the game, and Craig Ackerman said OT should have been on there. I think he called it a travesty.

That means Rockets have been doing a bad job of keeping the memory of Thorpe alive! People probably voted for Elie only because of the Kiss of Death, that's it. Horry only for his career and the Jet because he's on TNT.

Truth is, without Thorpe there is no Drexler and a lot of players deserve it over Drexler but I won't go into that. Bottom line: it is a travesty like Ackerman said!!!!
