I think we should cut Kareem Jackson. My favorite player is Ben Tate, dude is ****ing hilarious. Kubiak is my favorite coach, he's so knowledgeable it's insane.

I know but he is a moron. He doesn't know how to play the cornerback position. He benefited from a ridiculous defense at Alabama.

 

There's so much stuff in here, I can't see him lasting an hour if this gets around. And he makes it very easy to identify himself.

Glad to hear they are looking at WRs...not pleased that Jefferies is among them.

 

Could easily be that he's simply not really connected at all to the FO and is making all of this up.

I'm willing to bet he's either a disgruntled ex-employee who has already been fired, or someone who is not connected at all with the Texans organization.

The Texans reworked contract of receiver Andre Johnson for the 2012 season. His $7.5 million salary now guaranteed, which creates cap space.

Texans saved $5.2 million on Andre Johnson restructure. And I have to give credit to Jason La Canfora for being first on that one.

 

He just said on 610 that the the Johnson restructuring saves 6.5 million of cap space

So they saved another 5.2 huh? So they've made about 12 million in cap room so far with Andre and Winston? They were allegedly 8 mil over already, so they have something around 4 million in space as of now.

 

Plus the 1.6 million extra cap space we get for the Cowboys and Redskins cheating

 

Yep, and if the report about only being 4 million over is correct, you can add another 4 million.

Texans might have something close to 10 million now in cap room. Have to leave some to sign draft picks and still need to sign offensive linemen to fill out your line (be it myers/briesel or others) so don't get your hopes up about Mario still.

 

Cut Jacoby, Leinart, Ryans. How much cap room do we have then? Cut Kevin Walter too.

 

I don't know. NFL contracts are weird. Too much effort to figure out precisely what a cut would save us.

 

I think cutting Jacoby would save us about 3 million.
