Disagree with ya. 30 is one of the funniest, smartest comedies on TV right now. I agree with you on 2.5 and parks (although for some reason I do still watch 2.5), but not on 30.
I like how most of you are b****ing about a) how Carl gets from point A to B b) how Carl is able to re-locate his gun c) how Carl is able to gun down Shane with one shot in a TV drama involving.... ....ZOMBIES The first thing in want to know is what the hell are Zombies doing in Atlanta?? Anyways, I would kill Carl to shoot a Zombie Tmac. A zombie with a microfrature surgery knee is no match for my shooting skills.
So happy Shane is gone. What a great couple of episodes. Both Dale and Shane gone. And next weeks season finale looks to have some damn good zombie fighting scenes. We are finally done with the Shane DRAMA!!! WHOOO!!!!
So a single fantastical element (zombies) is introduced into a world that is otherwise completely congruent with reality, and suddenly anything goes and none of the inconsistencies or plot holes should be questioned?
I hate when people say this. If an alien suddenly lands in the season finale and says, "my bad about the zombies; it was my fault all along!", I bet money you would be pissed; I bet you say, "well that makes no sense at all!". In before - "that's completely different" I haven't read the comics. It's not aliens is it? I hope it's not aliens.
Any idea what Jenner told Rick at the CDC? It's been confirmed that it has nothing to do with Olive Oil's pregnancy.
That's barely even fiction. Every one of us is infected by a degenerative disease known as life and each of us from the moment he or she is born begins the process of dying. The only distinction between the theory here and real life is the bit about walking.
AMC is rolling right now. Breaking Bad is arguably the best show on TV. Mad Men is arguably 2nd behind that. and The Walking Dead is slowly creeping up there episode by episode.
Exactly, The truth is in season one there wasn't these gaping holes. That's what got everyone watching myself included. The detail of the events and how real it all went down. There was suspense and concern for infection, the characters did things that made sense for survival, now well the show is still good but it's clearly lacking attention to detail.
and he dropped it and left it in the woods, I know it's nitpicky, I know it's Daryl's, I'm just saying he returns to the barn with it and shows it to Shane. I'm 100% sure it is that, like in the comics, everyone becomes a zombie when they die. that's why Rick blasted the guys brains out in the bar after their initial death. good episode last night. epic impending finale
Well when he first ran from the zombie he ran the opposite direction he came from, yet he still ends up back at the house. Why is hard to imagine that he turned back and went the correct way when he lost the zombie and picked up the gun on his way back? There are definitely things to get annoyed by in this show, but that doesn't seem like one of them. I don't require the show to actually show me everything on screen happening for me to accept that it did happen.
let us assume that is true. then, why would he not ensure shane was finished off as well after he stabbed him? i guess the answer we are suppose to swallow is he would have but he was in shock at just having killed his best friend and was interrupted by carl before he could do it...in which case rick is perfectly fine turning his back to a dead "friend" turning zombie. and, rick had no clue watching carl's face go scared sh_tless while he raised his gun that shane turned at that point. rick acted like he thought his son was going to shoot him because he saw rick kill shane. rick never even bothered to look behind him during that entire sequence. i don't see any other way to interpret that. if rick knew in the bar, then he either quickly forgot or he is just a dumbass. i could buy that whole sequence if rick didn't know dead people turned. if he knew, then the sequence makes no sense to me...unless we are just suppose to buy that he didn't get to finish the job before carl showed up and he had to explain to carl. but, still, turning his back on dead shane at that point makes it seem he had no idea shane would turn.
I have to watch again but I remember Carl finding the gun and then taking off. I don't think Shanes master plan was to kill Rick. I think his initial plan was to find a way to kill that kid instead of letting him walk. I'm thinking he figured he mine as well kill Rick too as Rick was smelling out his BS story about the kid getting away.
i lost alot of respect for rick when he didnt blow hot carl away for pointing a gun at him and not warning him about zombie shane. my problem isnt w/ hot carl necessarily...its the actor playing him...just a horrible, horrible actor. i just assumed hot carl went back to the creek and found the gun.
