Never even heard of it. What's the plot? If Statham is in it I guess it obviously is a fighting movie.

Got bored and watched several movies in the past two days.

Thor: 6.5/10. Mindless entertainment. Okay action scenes.
Horrible Bosses: 5.5/10. I had high expectations for this one because a lot of friends hyped it up but I didn't much care for it. I thought all three main characters were whiny and annoying. All of the bosses gave much much better performances. The plot was seriously convoluted.
Fast Five: 8/10. Great action flick. Easily the best in the series.

No sir! Statham actually has done his fair share of psychological movies. Check out Chaos when you can by him as well.
    This movie tho is about
    ones ego and enemy
,however it spans to be much more then that in an awesome plot. There is no fighting but a couple of shooting scenes which are great.

Hadn't heard about his movie, so I did some research. It got a 16% on Rotten Tomatoes. 16%....

As I said it's a confusing movie, not surprised people would dislike it.
I'm never one to look at reviews or opinions to check something out. If u want to go ahead but that's just me.

    Green Lantern: 3.5/10

Terrible CGI. Story resolution that made little sense. Horrible secondary acting. Not actually a bad origin storyline but the execution was really bad.

I know what you mean though. I've come across several movies that I loved which got killed on RT.

Chronicle - 8 out of 10. After starting out like a teen film it took a different direction, tackling a more serious subject and except for a bit of a stretch the performances and story carried it through. Complaints about the shaky camera technique were largely unfounded.

btw, I saw an odd film on Showtime that stuck out... Sweet Karma, a film about Russian prostitutes in Toronto. Strong performances, especially by first timer, former Playmate Shera Bechard who delivers as a mute (to disguise her lack of Russian accent and probably her poor delivery of lines) looking for her sister who was forced into prostitution. She somehow pulls it off. Needless to say, sex, violence, and swearing.. Google is definitely your friend for images that display more of her talents, but here is one that doesn't require a WW. 6 out of 10, all of which Shera earns...

As have I. Sorry Rox, perhaps I was a little harsh. Mostly just having a bad day. I've liked movies that were bashed by critics as well. I liked Jason Statham in the Crank series. I thought it was well done, somewhat original, and I like tongue and cheek movies like that. I'll give Revolver a shot.

    John Carter 3.5/10

First of all, I haven't read any of the books, so there isn't any level of familiarity with the source material to leave me jaded.

Anyway, I went in expecting a family-friendly Disney-style quasi-epic (e.g. Pirates of the Caribbean, Prince of Persia)--a genre that I already don't enjoy--and had low expectations. I had my brain turned off for some popcorn fare, but the movie passed the threshold for tolerance around halfway for me. It was just too dumb. A bunch of plotholes added up to where I couldn't ignore them and there were too many obviously in-universe elements crucial to the story that were just barely glazed over. I wouldn't have minded a simple dumb plot, but this was an incomplete simple dumb plot. Additionally, unlike Avatar, there was no semblance of otherwordly visuals to make me temporarily forget about said dumb plot.

TAKEAWAY: If you enjoyed seeing PotC, Prince of Persia and similar movies in the theater, then you might like this one; otherwise, save your money. I don't like those movies, and I thought this one was actually a bit worse.

    30 Minutes or Less - 5/10

Nothing special. Wasn't good by any means, but it also wasn't English Patient bad. Mindless teen movie and saw it for Aziz Ansari. Not doing that again.

    The Three Musketeers - 2/10

Caught most of it when my nieces were watching it. I don't know who their target audience were, but that had nothing to do with the 3 musketeers story. I don't think my nieces understood what the three musketeers are since they're still in elementary. This is probably their first 3 musketeer movie. Would have been a 0/10 if it wasn't for the villain duo of the dude from Inglourious Basterds and Casino Royal.
