Yep, Walking Dead is mindless entertainment. Still entertaining, and occasionally suspenseful, but (after a promising pilot) mindless nevertheless. It's the television equivalent of diet soda.
Castrated thread is castrated. Thank you, crybaby. All because some people don't understand what a spoiler tag is.
dude, not to be an ass...but do you guys really sit and think things like this while watching these shows? if i know going in i'm dealing with the "undead" walking around eating human flesh, i'm willing to suspend some disbelief on their ability to traverse a creek.
LOL... Yep. So true. Zombies eating flesh = accepted. Zombie getting loose from mud = not. Then again, I can get worked up thinking about the plot holes in the new Star Wars trilogy, so I can relate a little.
Well it's not a big deal but I think it shows poor continuity. Carl has to cross the creek to get to the zombie, and when he runs away he runs into the woods instead of across the creek again. At the moment I was wondering why the hell we was doing that and fully expected him to get lost in the woods and the last few episodes spent trying to find him. Was a little surprised to see him back on the farm the very next scene. Sure we can assume he may have circled around or something, but it would have been nice to see him do that or just cross at that same spot. Plus all the time on the farm and the history of it, never has it been mentioned that the zombies have been able to get through the mud. In fact Hershel specifically said the mud causes the zombies to get stuck. That the zombie got out of the mud because he smelled fresh blood is understandable, but what's a little perplexing is how he didn't get stuck again once Carl got away and the zombie had to cross the river. It's almost as if in one moment, you have to cross the river to get to the farm and in the next moment you don't. It's not like it ruined the episode or anything....I think Carl did a good job of that already, plus Rick's stupid father-son moment with him.
Have I missed anything? I just started watching. I was going to wait till it restarts at 10 or 11 or whenever, but the past few episodes, nothing has happened till the last few minutes anyways.
Yeah so everyone ones dead next episode. SO the theory that someone said since they are exposed when they die they will turn.
That would explain the cops/security guards from the previous episode. maybe they took some pills, died and came back. Rick should of pulled his gun and shot carl. that would have been epic!
I though the opening was pretty cool. Andrea with a pitchfork through the head of a zombie. But yeah, after that nothing happens until about 35 minutes in. The last 25 minutes were good.
