what is up with you elitists and your 'spelling' and 'grammar'? Don't you know that it's all about how you feel. You just think you're smart because you know how to spell some words, but really smart people can always let you know how they feel so they don't even have to spell right!
I admit I make the "vicious cycle" mistake (and up to now, never even knew that it was "circle" instead), but honestly, it doesn't seem like there is too much of a difference there. I think more people say "cycle" anyway. Whereas the other ones seem to be misspellings and/or malapropisms, the "vicious cycle/circle" one seems to be an either/or situation. I get that one is "correct" and has a literary history (I guess), but both variations of the expression make complete sense and mean the same thing.
