Holy crap...I really didn't think this bunch had it in them to win that kind of a game. Especially playing it in Kansas City.
looks like Baylor is a 3 seed in the bracket tomorrow no matter if they beat Missouri and win the Big 12-2 tourney? very cool for the Bears squad to get revenge on both the Kansas teams in their neck of the woods. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8uWX2StAB_U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> and KSU game <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/QVxlXTZ-itQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Looking very soft to start the game. The biggest question mark I have to put on Perry Jones is his mental toughness and determination. He's insanely talented and athletic, but his MIA habit is a red flag.
I'm watching BU/Mizzou on ESPN and also viewing ESPN's home page. The website is exactly 17 seconds ahead.
I liked what I saw from Baylor in the tourney. It would have been nice to see both men's and women's win the conference tournament. I can't wait for the real tournament to start regardless of what happens. March Madness is upon us.
Baylor should get to the Sweet 16. Gotta get revenge on Duke from 2 years ago if we wanna play Kentucky in the Elite 8.
Don't get caught looking ahead, Baylor fans. Your ceiling is Arizona of last year, but your floor is UT of every year! Pray that the Kansas game was a sign of growing maturity from your young NBA talent rather than the high water mark of a through-and-through inconsistent year.
I wasn't necessarily looking ahead. Sam Houston State was in the game late in round 1 the season before last when Baylor went to the Elite 8. Upsets always happen. That's what makes the tournament so special. I merely meant that we should get to the Sweet 16.
I get the enthusiasm at least. If they put it all together they have the talent to give Kentucky a run for their money. Honestly though I think the committee did a masterful job of making the #1 overall seed's journey to the Final Four as smooth as possible. There's not a single team I look at in this draw that seems to have a shot at taking them out, with the exception of maybe Wichita St at 5 if they turn out to be MUCH better than anyone could have figured so far this year. I'm an unabashed Duke fan but even I know that this squad's talent level is simply sweet 16 caliber. But anything can happen! That's what makes March Madness so fun.
I have us losing to UNLV. I hope I'm wrong and we go further than that. Insanely frustrating that my doubt has nothing to do with the talent of the kids on the court.
I'd really like to see the Baylor-Duke rematch from the '10 Elite 8 at Reliant. UT's in trouble, no doubt, so I'm hoping the Bears represent the state/conference well and wreak some havoc on that side of the bracket.
UNLV has lost 5 times this season to unranked teams. They're 5-5 in the last 10. They might not get past CU.
i'm not saying it's a given. it's my pick. UNLV also beat freaking UNC. of course, they could absolutely lose in the first round...then again, so could our Bears.
Hoping we play better next round! Did you hear Barkley's comments after the game? Holy crap, I've never agreed with Barkley before in my life...but he's absolutely right. This team has soooo much talent and they're soooo frustrating to watch! PJ3 has completely played himself out of a lottery pick I think. Pierre Jackson is my favorite college player since Tweety!
