I think he wants to get cut from the Rockets so HE CAN PICK where HE PLAYS and STILL GET PAID by the Rockets AND the new team.

This is not a revelation. There are folks here hoping he gets cut to open a roster spot for a more deserving player, assuming Williams is not traded.

He would be better off just busting his but to earn time.

( 5 coaches suggests he is not as smart as he thinks.)

 

I have defended my boy, and believe that he hasn't been given the best of opportunities here in Houston, but on twitter he has taken to, blocking several people, including Johnathan Feigan?

I believe I read somewhere that 90% of NBA players are broke within 5 years of leaving the league.

Terrence with multiple kids to support, will need to play basketball somewhere, Europe or China, but his attitude sure seems like he is trending to the broke side of the equation.

Is that the number? I just remember being shocked at it. If it is only 60%, he is still trending that way.

You get payed to play bball at the highest level. 450 players get to play in this league. The minimum to be expected is professionalism. Being required to do your job by the people who pay to see you is the bare minimum. When you can't do that you get called out. If that's being an ******* then so be it.

Pretty much.

From what we know, Williams was damn excited when he got traded over here. He finally got minutes but didn't play up to Clutchfans standards so got randomly taken out of the the rotation. From we also know is that Williams "always stays in basketball shape" so that must mean that he's in the gym and practicing. McHale has said himself that Williams practices hard and it's tough fitting him into the rotation. Williams is doing everything he possibly can to play from what we know. No speculations.

He is doing everything he can. He can't force coach to put him in the game. That's out of his control.

And you guys are putting him down for things he cant control.

That's an *******. He didn't ask Morey to be traded for the Rockets 1st round pick. But since he was it's all his fault that he isn't playing and essentially wasting Rox draft pick. Keep in mind we still have NYK's pick which we probably wont trade.

When ever Terrence is interviewed he never seems in a negative mood. He smiles and says "yeah. Im sick" and you guys just boo him. You guys need to understand that Williams is probably one of the more positive attitudes in the locker room even with all the **** he goes though. I'll say it again. You guys are assholes. It's not his fault he can't play up to your standards cause he can't get minutes. He's obviously trying.

I'm sick of this thread and I wish Clutch would lock this thread. It's dumb that there is a thread this big for a guy like Terrence. It's disgusting.

 

Look this can not be something that is unexpected, the minute the Rockets did not extend him, he checked out.

I doubt he has any respect for McHale as a coach or Morey as a GM, or the Rockets in general, probably feels he got the short end of the stick.

Now whether you agree or not, it doesn't matter, the Rockets put themselves in this spot by giving up a first round pick for him, and then not letting him develop by playing him.

They should have known what he was before they got him, IMO, TWill is an immature brat, but the Rockets should have had a plan in place to deal with that.

Always two sides to everything.
