Twenty years ago the guy was a novelty rapper in Chapter 11. He'll go where the money is.

He does like 1 movie a year. I guarntee you he gets hundreds of offers a week. Trust me, I know the industry, I watched Entourage.

However, he's nothing like your favorite actor, Kevin James. :grin:

Um....you don't know what the hell you are talking about. 20 years ago, He was the start of a hit TV show on NBC....called "the Fresh Prince of Bel Air". Look it up. Maybe you were too young to remember.

 

But..yes...he had tax problems because of underpaid taxes in 1989-90.

 

Maybe you were just to stupid to listen to any interview he's given in the last twenty years.

So 20 years ago he got back on his feet by becoming a TV-star. 22 years a go, he was novelty rapper that went Bankrupt. And 5 years ago, he got his second nomination for Academy Awards best actor.

 

Apparently someone never saw "Wild Wild West".

 

You guys are pretty rough on MIB; if you go see it in theatres, that is your own fault. Just redbox it and be entertained for 100minutes.

Just don't go into it expecting oscar nominations...

Will Smith is basically the less controversial version of Tom Cruise, and tried to reach critical success just like Cruise with roles like Ali. His movies are made to make a ton of money. Denzel Washington he is not.

In fact, I'd like Will to take on a contrary role that he hasn't done before, like Denzel in Training Day or Cruise in Collateral. For instance, the role of Marsellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction would have been perfect for Will, cause the audience would be totally taken surprised when Zed is butt pirating him over a pommel horse.

 

This was the only good thing in MIB2

 

Maybe you are too much of a DUMBASS TO BE SPECIFIC. 20 years ago....hit TV show. 22 years ago....Tax problems.

 

Born On The 4th of July is a legitimate masterpiece, in my opinion.
