Goran Dragic's numbers as a starter (potential stud?)

10 minutes is not as inconsequential as it sounds prima facie. I would not trust those minutes to Jonny Flynn at the moment. Nor would I risk leaving the roster short-stacked at that position if something like what has happened to KLow in recent days happens again (what if we trade Lowry, are short on PGs and Dragic goes down for any period of time).

No matter what you think about Kyle vs. Goran (which I still think Kyle is better, but I understand that's an opinion), my point is that it diminishes Kyle's value if you want to trade him right now because we have to at least get a serviceable back-up in return.

 

It looks like Dragic is a starting caliber PG, and puts up numbers equal to or better than Kyle.

So, if Morey wants to trade Kyle, he probably feels comfortable knowing he has Dragic, but it does leave a hole for next season if Dragic leaves through Free Agency.

 

Yeah. Dragic has endless energy on both ends. He's a sensational defender. And he's nonstop on the offensive end. I like him defensively more than Lowry because he is longer and more athletic. I want to keep him unless we can get DWill.

 

Easy to have energy when you have not been playing heavy minutes all season. I like Goran though.

 

Good point. Don't know what he'd look like after being run ragged for 40 games, which is what we've done to Kyle.
