McHale has alot of connections with the network, and is real close friends with everyone that worked there. They want to see him do well, and they do give him alot of props during Gametime. I agree that it has to do with scheduling.

The Rockets actually do pretty well at getting games when its "fan night." You also hardly ever see the Memphis Grizzlies as well even though they are third in the West so I dont think it has anything to do with the Rockets in general and more to do with logistics.

yeah i agree, but look at the pacers, they are a top 5 team in the east and they have 0 national games this year, thats crazy. And I know the raptors suck, but they also haven't had any games on tv, even when bosh was there.

Thank god they're not. If the Rox were on NBATV a lot, NBA League Pass Broadband subscribers like me wouldn't get to see any of those games. I know crappy streams suck, and that's why I went ahead and got LP. You should consider now that the price has been reduced.

How could the rockets losing be McHale's fault? The Rockets simply aren't that good. They only win games by outworking there opponent, not by talent

no nba fan can name our starting lineup, we have a bunch of role players on one team trying to win games. No well known player or exciting team. Most of the time I have trouble sitting through a rockets game because it becomes boring. Hell, we only sell out the Toyota Center when popular teams visit us lol

We'll never be better than in the middle as far as paid attendance goes due to a lower capacity in the Toyota Center.

How can our ratings not be in the bottom 5? We aren't on TV. We've been on national TV once in the past two years from what I recall, and that was NBATV, not TNT/ABC/ESPN.

The Rockets have more history than half of the NBA.

Simply they are not very watchable. I mean at times even I cringe watching their games. They are pretty boring, the only reason I watch obviously because I'm a fan of the team.

Didn't realize you couldn't get those games on broadband. How dumb. NBA needs to fix that. Guess I'll have to keep satellite forever.
