57% on FTs though. All games in March. Player of the Month candidate? haha stats link http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/6466/chandler-parsons [edit] ESPN just corrected it to 69%
Its like his confidence actually grew, which is saying something, since he was really confident initially.
He showed an awesome arsenal of offensive move the last couple of games. He gets by defenders really easily. Disgusting how Norris Cole gets in the rising stars game and Parsons doesn't. Just wrong.
They're running some screens for him too. Glad to see him getting more involved in the offense. With his work ethic he's going to be a player in this league for a long time.
Battier with less range but more capable scorer. He should watch game tapes of Battier's left handed hook shot off that baseline and add it to his game. He has the height advantage against most players he's matched up with.
If there is one guy on our team that I hope doesn't get traded, it's Parsons. He's just getting better and better. Give him an off-season to work on his game and who knows what he'll develop into. I bet Morey is getting a lot of calls about Parsons.
Wasn't he on 29% FT% or something along those lines earlier? The kid's improved in that area by more than double in a relatively short time period. I'd be encouraged by those FT% stats rather than pointing it out as something to be concerned about. FT is something that can be learnt and improved over time if you just keep at it, Parsons looks like a hard working kid so look forward to seeing him grow into an exceptional rotation player.
My fav player...from fav college team to fav pro team...not surprised but excited about how well he has been playing...hope they never trade him!
and that block was HUGE...cool under pressure.. who cares, i'd rather keep him and play him alongside Pau and Dally....that lineup is longer than Greg Oden.
That was an amazing block by Parsons. He's got a great sense of where both the ball and his defender is at all times. He doesn't force the issue on offense, but lets it come to him. He plays a beautiful game. I appreciate that!
