I think they're just going to mail it in. In reality they could still be competitive against us for that 8th seed since Love and Pekovic are no joke and we're sucking big time.

Wow, Adelman has to be one of the most unlucky coaches of all time.

Maybe this will showcase Sergio Llull in London.

In rubio's case, it's a freak accident. It happens. However, the stronger your legs are, the less likely you'll suffer such an injury. Also, when jumping and landing, get into the habit of learning to land with your knee more with a bent. Landing and getting collided into with a straight knee has a greater chance of hyperextending it, thus tearing ligaments or further damage to your knee.

This is season is one of the worst in the last couple of decades, and that's another reason for it

That's exactly what I thought. Llull will get his chance to shine on a really big stage without people constantly talking about Rubio.

I don't think the T-Wolves sacrifice the future for Martin. Beasley, Wes Johnson, Martell Webster, Anthony Randolph... if you want one or maybe more of those guys, then they might do it because K-Mart would fit long-term for them.

But it's only Derrick Williams that I would want for Kevin Martin, and I suspect it would take more than K-Mart for that.

They actually aren't in bad shape. Wesley Johnson at 2, Dwilliams or beasley at hte 3 with webster backing them up. Ridnour snad Barea as a 1 and 1 back up is good, problem is no pass first player on the team any mroe, but still ahve talent there and adelman

Man I know they are fighting with Rockets for a playoff spot, but unlike the Grizzlies last year I actually like the T-Wolves. This sucks immensely for them, but I guarantee you if they don't make it this year they make it next year. (With no major losses)

This will help the Rockets make the Playoffs and get a better 2nd round pick.

That's terrible. Never want to see it happen to an exciting young player. I hope he recovers fully.

That is horrible for Rubio. Hope he gets well and back on the court with no affects on his game. That really sucks for Minnesota's playoff chances though. Helps us out a lot! I'd rather make the playoffs then have the 14th pick again

I don't like Calderon's game all that much, but he's probably still going to start over Llull.

Also, while Llull might have the chance to showcase himself (to the media/other teams), he may actually drive up his asking price (in terms of $$$/year) as well.

We get to see if rubio was the real reason that team was good.

The 14th pick is what you get when you are the best team that did NOT make the playoffs. Rockets haven't made the playoffs since 2009.

This year, if the Rockets make the playoffs, they don't even get that -- their pick goes to New Jersey (from the T-Will trade).

Does Minny still have their first rounder this year? Because if they do, i know this injury will be tough, but DAMN they're going to be stacked...Imagine if they had skipped on flynn..
