I work at Kroger's right now and I don't make a ton of money @ 7.35/hr. Long story short, I didn't think I'd be working any job right now with my history of severe neck pain and depression. I'm grateful, but it doesn't fully pay the bills. 30 hours a week @ 7.35/hr is not cutting it. A friend got me the job, so I feel like I owe it to her to stay a few more months. At the same time, my school work would suffer tremendously working another "out of the house" job. I do computer repair on the side, but I don't want to give out my home address and don't have the money to rent a spot per month... so that's out. I do too much traveling for only $40/computer (+ parts) and so that's a problematic income source as well. Has anyone had success with work at home? ebay selling? something? I do live rent-free (thankfully) with my mom and sister, but I'd like an extra $60-$100/week and would greatly appreciate anyone's help.
Start a charity about magic children you can't see -- take money from people to make them visible again.
What are you in school for? It might be wiser to just request work-study consideration when you fill out the FAFSA next year, so you can get an on-campus job that will accomodate your study schedule. That and start maxing out your student loans based on your school's cost of education on your Financial aid profile; imprudent as that sounds, going to school on two jobs is just not doable: and doing any job that doesn't fit into long term career goals might not be completely practical.
Computer Information Systems (CIS) in UHD's College of Business. Yeah, I've thought about it. One thing was to possibly be getting my A+ cert just to be working on and around computers, but I don't have the money to do that.
LOL, of course there will be at least 1 experience Mech to teach the newbie and they will learn on the fly... Most of the cars I see go in mostly do Oil change .
True. Once you get in, it is pretty worth it, though! If you're full-time, you top out in about 5 years at 22.50/hour.
A question if I'm considering part-time pizza delivery, Will I be going to questionable neighborhoods and get shot routinely or is it semi-safe?
Ever considered becoming a drug dealer? You set your own hours and there's always a demand for the products.
