    I hope it isn't serious. All that time spent by the T-Puppies waiting for the guy, it turns out that he can play, and then something like this? If it's bad, they're going to think they've been cursed. We can tell them what that feels like, if they're interested. It doesn't feel good at all.

    Injuries are part of the game. Rockets know that too well. Just hope he can recover to pre-injury level, (hopefully) not this year though

    I've had the same exact injury before. That's a torn acl. Poor guy.

    Maybe not, but seeing as how NO(the NBA) owns Minny's 1st rounder this year they can't be THAT upset.

    The NBA won't be holding on to the Hornets. Deal is probably done before the season is over. Stern doesn't give a flip about that 1st rounder.

    What are some methods or practices to prevent a torn acl? I've played basketball for years and fortunately (knock on wood) have not endured such an injury. I do stretch quite a bit before and after games so that could be a reason. Sucks for any player.

    Really hope he's OK, he's fun to watch play. His duels with Lowry made for good basketball, never want anyone to lose a season like this.

    I guess you could be right, but I can already see it now. If NO ends up with two lotto picks, no doubt about it, one of them is gonna be the #1 pick and I think that makes the franchise that much easier to sell.
