The Knicks lost again... Milwaukee won, now only 2 games back. If the Knicks drop out of the playoffs by the end of the season, their pick will likely be in the 8-11 range in the lottery instead of #15.

who gives a **** at this point. If the Rockets collect this lotto pick, it will be a miracle and a deserved break for once.

Who gives a sh**? Well, I do...

Yeah it's unlikely the Knicks fall out of the playoffs... but certainly not impossible.

I doubt we have the pick after the 15th.

It sure is gaining value, though.

I agree that Morey most likely covers before the deadline, but shorting the Knicks has been interesting.....and profitable.

Only as much as you believe the Bucks or Cavs can actually overtake the Knicks.

Even if they are not overtaken, 15th is still better than 22nd or 25th.

This will come down to the wire. Knicks have been extremely streaky all season

Bucks could pull it off... it's too bad Bogut went down. Jennings is good, Gooden is good, Ilyasova has emerged as a good player. They have some decent roleplayers too like Dunleavy.

It'll be an uphill climb for sure but my hope is Dantoni will keep the Knicks sucking enough to make it possible.

I give the Knicks a 75/25 chance to make the playoffs.

My bad guys, i was thinking we only collected on the Knicks pick if it fell in the lotto 6-14 (top 5 protected).

What are the Bucks trying to get for Bogut?

And is Varejao out for the year or will he be back?

That's right, the Bucks could possibly trade Bogut in the next few days... if they get reinforcements for a playoff run that would be great for their chances.

So is it better for the Knicks if amare and melo stay healthy or if they are out of the lineup?

Bucs only 2 games out. They took the Bulls to the wire in their last game. Their schedule is easier than New York's the rest of the way. It could happen. I would be so pumped if Morey traded for Bogut. It makes too much sense. Someone like Martin could really help them right now.

I want to make the playoffs though... it seems to me that a team like Portland might be a better fit for Bogut.

If there wasn't the 2 weeks of Linsansity we would be sitting on a 6th or 7th pick right now. Damn you Lin!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank god Melo's back in the lineup :)

All those that have been saying NYC just played crap teams during the 8-1 Lin streak...

    8-15 before Linsanity (with Melo)
    8-1 during Linsanity (without Melo)
    2-5 with Melo and Lin

That's already a combined 39 game sample size. I'm pretty sure they've played easy teams during the combined record of 10-20 with Melo. He may not be as bad as the record shows (because of the small sample size), however you can't deny that for a player making the MAX he's done nothing for his team.
