UGGGGGG Chris Mortensen just said on NFL 32 if the Texans wanted Manning it would be game over he's a Texan. This is so frustrating to think we can have him but don't want him.
Texans would be crazy to not entertain the idea. Dre mayonly have 2-3 years left of top WR play. At all cost, the Texans must do whatever they can to try and win a SB in that time span. The probability of that happening goes way up if u add Manning.

It's a 50/50 proposition for me. If we could keep all our FA's except for MW and add Peyton somehow, no question I'd go for it. But if we had to lose Myers, Breisel, and a couple other pieces to fit in Manning, I'm not sure its worth it.
I agree with you. It is a tough call. I think Jacoby and his $4+ million contract can be cut. However, our O line needs to stay the same.
Can someone please tell me the Cons of bringing in Manning....Like seriously last time I checked...Schaub hasn't done anything since he's been here and not to mention he is coming off a season ending injury and is in His Last Year Of His Contract.
You and I would like to know the same. Sure Manning is coming off a significant injury but he is a proven leader and winner. Schaub is good, but no where near Mannings level. If I had to guess, I would say the FO is just scared about what Manning could do after his first hit. We have a great O line so Manning will be protected well and we have one of the best RB in the game as a last resort short pass if anything.
You get Schaub and Yates muttering in the corner "HE TURK ER JURBS!" With of course Leinert following that up with "DURKUR DUUR!"
