Are you guys strict on RSVP for Tuesday's shows? I wanted to see Oberhofer at 8pm, but then I realized that RSVP's were closed for this event already.
It gets a hell of a lot less expensive if: A: You have friends in town who enjoy your company. Accommodations, otherwise, are very difficult to find and usually quite expensive. B: You DON'T BUY A WRISTBAND. There are shows all over town - everywhere from swanky lobbies to folks' backyards - that don't cost a thing, and that often have free food/beer.
Last year me and my girl camped in a tent in some hippies backyard in SOuth Austin for $15 a night. It was awesome but it seems they lost the property so I can't make it this year.

friend of mine saw billy corgan and alex jones at guerros last night - it was just the two of them at a table and they were engaged in deep conversation the whole time...my friend wanted to go over and say hi, but he said it was like they were on a dude-date and he didnt want to interrupt their bro-down.:grin:
