Not to mention when you get your head pulled back you might land upside down on your head, or bang your head on other player's knees while you're falling. Reeko you're a dumbass and a half, sorry brah you're not right in any way.
So it was a safe play b/c Lin wasn't injured? Do you think that shooting an uncontested layup (like Shaun Livingston) is a dangerous play?
It's one thing to say Kidd pulled Lin's head back by his hair which he didn't to entirely. He fouled him on the head with his arm going for the ball like a ton of players do to other players going for layups. That's what made Lin's head go back. Not the first player I've seen that happen to but since it's Lin it's the worst, most dangerous flagrant in recent memory.
Lin was too quick, but he has got to learn how to shoot FT's in order to make the opposition pay for fouls like that. Kidd's forearm thought he was going to hit the ball but instead his head. I've had this happen to me in games (when I was younger) by older/slower players. Kidd is just getting slow and too old to keep up with the new guys, I don't think it was a flagarant.
You still don't seem to grasp the big picture here. The foul itself wasn't that hard. But the fact he even went for the hair pull is one of the most bush league things. Hair pulling is dangerous, and when put enough force on it can seriously injure someone. It's not even allowed in MMA, it should have absolutely no place on an NBA court no matter how hard or light the hair pull is.
If you rewatch the video 24-27 seconds, first it does appear like Kidds hands were open on the front of Lin's head at the start of contact, causing Lin's head to move back in reaction a bit Then, closer to 26 seconds it looks like his hand closes around the back of Lin's head, his arm contracts, and Lin's head seems to go back another few inches before he finally falls. I have the video paused on 26 seconds and his hand is definitely making a grabbing motion on Lins head.
If he couldn't make shots because he is hurt why didn't he take himself out of the game? If he can't make free throws that play becomes a TURNOVER. He got up and looked fine, other point guards make those free throws. Plus I read he went straight to the basketball on the very next play and missed more free throws.
If the free throw shooter can't shoot FTs because of injury, the opposing coach gets to pick someone off the bench to shoot the FTs...and they always pick the worst shooter.
Yeah, I have no idea why anyone would still reply to Reeko. Either he is too dumb to get what you guys said or he is just trolling.
The NBA will review the hard foul by Dallas guard Jason Kidd on New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin in the Mavericks' 95-85 home victory Tuesday. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/bask...physical-with-guards-Lin-and-Rubio/53403974/1
I wonder what the NBA's ruling will be. Probably just a one game suspension and a small fine. If he gets fined, shouldn't the proceeds get sent to Lin instead of the league?
Hair pulling its allowed in the NFL. You can tackle someone by pulling from his hair. but Im not saying it was legal, and Kidd doesnt deserve a fine.
