He's the perfect "Buy Low" candidate if there ever was one.

He came into the league highly regarded out of college and he was dubbed Brandon Roy version 2.0 If that's not a lot of pressure and high expectations than I don't know what is. Sure he didn't live up to standards his rookie year and he's still not what was expected this year but I think he's far from a bust.

He has all the tools and skill-set to be successful in this league. He knows how to play the game, has good vision and most importantly he has good handles and he can get past his defender and get to the rim. The biggest problem for Turner is that he plays inconsistent not because it's only his 2nd year in the league so it's expected but the biggest factor is that he gets inconsistent minutes.... He plays alongside too many other talented guards who are all very similar.

I think Turner would be perfect if he were given a bigger role with more minutes and depended upon more. There's still a lot of growing pains with him but I can still see him blossoming into the star we all thought he would have been by year 4 if he's given the opportunity.

I'd love for us to go after him. Get him while you still can and groom him. I'd trade Kevin Martin for Turner + big contract filler in a heartbeat.

I really, really want Hawes with him. He's a guy I might take a gamble on in free agency in the offseason--so much better if we get him this year and can give him big minutes with our coaching staff to see if what he showed early in the season is for real.

i'd like the rox to get him, he's still young and has upside ... + he's the type of guy Morey seems to like, didnt he said he like to gamble on young players who didnt lived up on their potential on their first team, like T-Will, Thabeet, Hill, Flynn ... etc ? ... hopefully if we trade for Turner it will work this time

His handles are amazing. His shot is terrible.

Turner is a solid defender. Good but not Iggy who is all world.

Martin for Turner, yes do it. Our defense would greatly improve with Lee/Turner at the 2 spot. He has the skills to be a better scorer than he is currently also.

Funny. Kmart has been sleeping through most of the games lately and isn't doing too well.

Questions. 1. How did he mesh with Iggy? 2. IYO was he being showcased for our benifit?

I think KMart for Turner is great, but I question the timing of his career best scoring game.

He's played like a stink-bomb recently so I wouldn't get too excited about this one game. He needed this badly.

He meshed well but Iggy didn't have the ball in his hands much (apart from fast breaks). Turner had the ball in his hands for most of the time he was on the court and was the de facto PG over Holiday, Lou Williams and Iggy. He hasn't shown much off the ball ability.

It is highly possible that he was being showcased since he's only just been moved to the starting lineup and he has really been allowed to dominate the ball.

Jeremy Lin did this.... many times already..

Turner even had more game action going back to last year.

Evan Turner would be a classic Morey pickup IMO. Someone who is undervalued despite being a great overall skills and is held back by shooting which is fixable.

That's what I'm saying. He can easily turn out to be the Kyle Lowry of SG's.

He is struggling because he is a point forwards who needs the ball to dominate... The offense was run through him in college ans he didnt have to spotup shoot or anything..
Now that he's with the sixers, players like iggy and williams have the ball dominating role. That is in my opinion why he is struggling. He is playing a role that does not cater to his strengths and it really isnt anyone's fault except for perhaps the men upstairs who didnt see the logjam... Monroe would have been a beast there

16 points, 12 boards, 6 assists tonight vs. Utah. Averaging 11 boards a night in last 3 games and hit season highs in minutes in each of the last two games (37 & 43).
