Justice League Doom - Timm produced DTV - Solid story, using Tower of Babel graphic novel as the base, just a tad too much time spent on action esp. the opening sequence. Really wish they'd allow them more time to flesh out the story, feels rushed especially towards the end. - B

    Moneyball- 6/10

As a sports fan, I expected this to be a great movie, but it didn't deliver. Sometimes it felt like the movie was dragging and not even entertaining. I did not expect to be bored during the movie, but I was.

Midnight in Paris: 8.5/10 as much as I hate the blond owen's voice, he was awesome in this...great movie

Journey 2: 4/10 Kids liked it and it was just a cheesy kids movie..

Act of Valor: 6/10 Lots of action, reminded me of COD, and I know they used real navy seals, and I commend them for the job they do, but they just can't act...

Damn took you a while to see this. I'd give it a 8/10 at least.

Not a Nolan fanboy either, since I thought Batman Begins was a 4-5/10. TDK is just a solid all-around movie.

I give it a 5/5. Thor was much much better than I expected. I didn't know if they could pull of the balance between the Norse mythology stuff and the real world Marvel Universe. It help set the stage for the next avengers movie if you guys plan on watching it. The acting was very good. Plus it has natalie portman and kat dennings :grin:

Watched the Tim and Eric movie.

Pretty disappointed. Too much of a narrative, pacing issues, not enough commercials/short skits. Some good moments though.

    5/10

I'm guessing you are ~14 years old?

Some characters were very strong and did a great job while others were there just to fill the screen, the whole love story thing was just ridiculousness to me as he had known her for a week? There was barely anything going on on earth and the movie was short but still found it enjoyable.
Best actors were Loki and the old man imo.

Hugo 7.5/10 - Great movie but lose its magic near the end.

Alien 3 4/10 - Finally after 20 yrs I decided to watch it because I was too piss off when I heard they decided to kill off Newt and Hicks. My goodness, couldn't believe it would be this bad. From the terrible terrible SFX of the Xenomorph and the characters you didn't give a damn about so I don't know the point of this stupid movie.

    War Horse - 6/10

Could have been exceptional, but didn't really feel moved by the supposedly moving moments........

    Chronicle - 6.5/10

Finally saw this and I'm glad I did. Good story. I like that it focused on what could happen if real people get superpowers, and not so much on how they got it and all the scientific explanations. I would give it a much higher score, but the camera wasn't too friendly. I had to stop for a bit in the middle because I couldn't take it anymore. I like Steve's character the best, sucks what they did to him in the last third of the movie. A showdown between Steve+Matt vs Andrew would've been epic.

I hope they make a sequel.

saw this on my flight to houston recently - i thought the premise was great and felt the same way that it started off great then it seemed like everything really wrapped up quickly -- a bit too quickly which is a shame because it could have been a lot better not that it was terrible.

    saw wanderlust last night

    6/10

the movie was funny at parts - better than i thought it would be - there were some unusual and funny characters but i felt there was just something lacking - there was anything else at the theater that was playing that we wanted to see that we hadnt already seen so went with this. otherwise probably would ahve been a movie would have seen on a rental for sure

I'd give it an 8. Braveheart and Gladiator are solid 9s.

To be serious though any thing you would give a 10. I think I have this conversation on here about this with you or someone else.
