Haha, it's the Qualcomm chipset in that thing. I'm interested to see how it works. I might be buying an iDevice
Keep going at it. Ordered my with confirmation 10 minutes ago. It did take some reloading and clearing out the 15 ipads in my cart Apple care for ipad? I wouldn't but if you're clumsy then why not?
Not really...I've had my iPhone for almost 3 years sooo IDK. I keep getting the Oops error message. What r the shipping options? I'm paranoid about it being shipped to my house and the UPS man leaves it at the door. I will be home on that day though.
The free shipping seems to imply it needs signature on delivery so I don't think they'll just leave it there. Keep refreshing it'll eventually go through, the process of ordering mine took about 30 minutes or so.
On a 9 inch screen? I'm just going by apple marketing but is there a tablet with better resolution on the market? Yes fan-boys are a big reason why apple does so well, but the biggest reason is that the products work well and are brilliantly easy to use. Again, we can always ask for more whether it's an android phone or an apple product. Nothing is perfect. I still don't see how this isn't a significant upgrade? It's certainly not iphone 4 to 4s.
is anything new worth twice as much as the stuff that will come after it? Not wasting my money on something only slightly better than what they had before? I prefer innovation, to stagnation
Technically it is, and what I have been wanting tablets to be, but for 99% of users, it isn't a great upgrade over the now $399 iPad2.
I have original ipad. Will not be upgrading now, or for a while. If I was in the market for one, clearly I'd be very excited about this version, but the price point is too high to replace "regularly", absent mind-blowing upgrade. My original was wifi+3G but I stopped paying for the 3G. Maybe with 4G/LTE it will be a better value proposition, but I find myself using it somewhere where there already is wifi 90% of the time. The rest of the time I have my iphone with me, so I will survive on the smaller screen. Moreover, I don't see why I can't just pay one price - and the one I'm currently paying - for all my devices, given the data limitations? I mean, I know why the carriers don't want it, but absent that it makes no sense for me to pay $15 or $30 or more monthly, when I'm not maximizing the data usage on my iphone plan anyways. I'm not a big hog of data. I certainly understand why someone would say if you're going to spend all that money, spend a little more to have the option to connect via 4G. just pointing out my experiences. on the AppleTV, we also have an early generation and think it's great. $99 isn't too much, but I probably still won't upgrade. I would have upgraded, and would probably have paid $200 for it, if they would just incorporate full iOS into it. Otherwise, I will again await for the next upgrade to see what happens.
I'm upgrading from the Ipad 1 that I bought last year for $300 when the Ipad 2 came out. The applications quickly out paced the processing power of my machine so I won't thing twice of upgrading full price. The apps that are made for the ipad now are simply amazing.
Totally useless specs especially for a tablet with limited functionality especially when running iOS. I don't really see the point of having a 2,048 x 1,536 resolution display on a 9inch tablet. Quad core is nice but seriously what are their intention to do with a quad core on the iOS?
For those who are interested. Considering Verizon's LTE coverage map and expansion plans in comparison to AT&T's, it should be a no brainer. However, go ahead and get the AT&T one so you won't be on my network
I should have known better than to believe Engadget. http://www.theverge.com/2012/3/7/2852763/att-verizon-new-ipad-lte-data-pricing The Verge confirmed that it's 3GB for $30 on AT&T.
