yes sir. though you may be better off if they lower the price of the ipad 2. no issues with the screen resolution or the processor and while the camera does suck, who wants to use a giant tablet as a camera anyway? that's like talking on one of those 1980's grey analog cell phones
it's going to be my first time pre-ordering...when you pre-order, do you have an option to pick it up in an apple store? the site is down so i can't see if there is an option.
Can't answer your question, but this will be my first time pre-ordering as well. This thing looks like a beast. Is the site down because it's getting hammered or because it's not launched yet? I'm assuming the latter.
March 16th is interestingly when I get my bonus! Just ordered at 32gb 4G with the Apple TV. I mean the cable adapter is like 40 bucks so might as well pay a little more to link it wirelessly.
Yep! Although it's silly since I'm spending it ahead of time pre-ordering. Oh well that's what credit cards are for! AMERICA!
Is it realistic to expect a thinner shell and better battery life with that much of an upgrade in screen resolution and power? I certainly don't know. We can always ask for more. Maybe apple is better off waiting 2 - 3 years between product upgrades and we'll see technology catch up, but why would they with the amount of money they're raking in. It seems to me that this is at least akin to the 3gs to iphone 4 which was pretty significant. If you have an Ipad 2 now may not be the time to jump up, but people getting on their first tablet can look at this one and viably say, now's the time. Everyone thought Ipad 2 would see the upgrade in screen resolution and it didn't. This is the step some people were waiting for to hop on.
LOL, I don't think Apple is ever ahead of the technology curve, they are always playing catch up. Better and thinner? Definitely doable.
Umm quad core CPU? Better front facing camera maybe (aren't they so huge on FaceTime? Why not have a better front facing camera?). Also, I doubt the battery is going to have a 10 hr life with the retina display. And are they serious about Siri voice dictation? Why not put the complete functionality on it?
Battery life should be decent, but don't be upset when you feel it's not that great on 4G. Welcome to LTE
