I'm in favor of a Martin for Turner swap if we can't get anything better. Martin needs to go. Oh, and on this general topic of insiders and trade rumors involving Houston, someone they trust as an insider on the Bulls board posted this a couple weeks back: I didn't want to start a new thread or anything on it at the time, but yeah I just remembered it seeing this thread. Bulls GM = troll.
Dude's got that blue-collar mentality. Wish he was 2 inches taller, but he gives you a real physical presence in the front court that we are soarly lacking. He's under contract for another year at a reasonable $7 mil. This deal would also give us potentially three 1st round picks, which we could then package to move up and get a rookie with all-star potential.
I think I read somewhere that Milsap is one of the best PF defenders. Add to the fact that he adds toughness and is the equivalent of Lowry in terms of bargain non-rookie contracts and you definitely have to take it into consideration. Lowry and Milsap's friendly contracts would allow you to get 2 legit superstars and give them a competent team in the new CBA. It also allows you to move Scola/Dragic/Patterson for better pieces.
Diabetes is managable through diet and exercise. PO meds or insulin depending on which type. I'm not worried if it turns out to be diabetes.
I remember reading a Philly paper article in which Evan Turner was asked what his medium term goal is in the NBA. Turner said "Becoming a full time point guard." I wonder if he just kind of has "Spanoulis Syndrome," where he really just wants ball in his hand and it doesn't fit with Coach Collin's schemes.
If he had all those problems as a child, it could be an immunodeficiency or blood dyscrasia of some sort. That or mono/depression. lol.
Yea that sounds more like it. He could have a blood condition also. Perhaps not producing enough blood platelets or low count of blood cells. Which would lead to dizziness, lack of energy, etc.
Wat do y'all think about dat Lowry 4 Asik mentioned earlier I would line sumtin like Lowry Scola 4 Asik taj Gibson and korver don't know how the salaries work out though but thoughts on the Lowry 4 Asik trade
I love this deal. IMO Turner would have developed at a faster pace had he been drafted by another team instead of Philly. Having another guy with practically identical skill set in Iggy, really harmed Turner's development in IMO. He basically had to go from a SG who always had the ball in his hands in college, to a guy who played off the ball, which from looking at his shooting percentage's aren't his strong suit. With that said his ability to create off the dribble could really help down the stretch in close games in the long run, if he can improve his jumpshot.
Far from it... he's actually pretty good, and has the attitude to buy into being a role player. However, he's not necessarily great at one thing, but pretty ok at alot of things. Kind of like Parsons but without the size and defensive ability. Good player though.
it'll work, but these rumors on his health worry me http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=77un5ax
