Anyone think 16Gb isn't going to cut it anymore?? higher res photos, videos and larger sized apps to support the display. Could get a bit tight.
CNBC just said the name of the new iPad is literally "The New iPad" as opposed to iPad3. If so, that's a horrible decision by someone in their marketing department. There should be clarity on what product is newest, and to a person who didn't know better, it's unclear whether "iPad 2" is older or newer than "The New iPad".
...and Apple wouldn't mind squeezing people on physical memory to push them towards their cloud service.
damn 2048x1536 Beefed up A5X, 4X GPU 4G/LTE 4S Camera added 1080p video recording looks like I picked a good time to get an ipad EDIT: How the F*** will did they manage to still get the same battery life, and 9 hrs on 4G Quadcore GPU is going to be more important really. Especially at that resolution. I imagine performance benchmarks will be highly impressive. It puts it more in line with their other products lines really. iPods and imacs and macbooks are all generally ID'd by their 'generation'. And I doubt the original ipad (which is the only place the confusion might be a problem) will be on any retail shelves much longer.
Very clever of them to say preorder starts today but not give a time. I guess I'm not doing work today.
