Well wouldnt put much stock into this because he doesnt know what hes talking about to start...

"Houston has already traded its 2013 first-round pick (lotto protected) for Donatas Motiejunas and, uh, Jonny Flynn; it should receive Memphis' 2013 as a result of the Hasheem Thabeet-Shane Battier trade. Short version: draft picks aren't really in play for Houston."

We traded Memphis 1st round in 2013 in that deal not ours.

we cant trade our 2013 pick because we traded our 2012 pick...so thats still ours. We just traded a late 1st rounder in 2013 for what we hoped would be an early second round pick in 2012. (correct me if I am wrong)

So do that means we have 2012 1st round (NYK) and 2013 1st Round (Hou) to dingle in a trade? If so Yay

no unfortunately we can only offer 2012 nky pick and minnesotas 2012 2nd round pick. We are not allowed to trade our 2013 pick because we already traded our 2012 pick...and by nba rules you can not trade consecutive first round picks

yeah but i tought the rockets could pick the player the other team wants and then trade him, were not trading a pick were trading a player, but those moves usually happen on draft night.

Orlando's gonna jack around trying to add to Dwight in Orlando rather than trade him. That won't happen; after Howard, they have no one of value to trade (other than Ryan Anderson, and he's part and parcel with Howard, being the outside-shooting 4 to Howard's Olajuwon).

But will the Magic have any deals lined up that they like, when Plan A gets flushed?

I hope Dwight doesn't end up in Dallas. All I ask.

Both are conditional. If the season ended today we would own the Knicks pick and lose our own.

How would getting a superstar be a disaster? How?

I swear to god, people endlessly complain about being a treadmill team, bad coach, bad players, bad GM, but then there is any rumor to bring a talented player in and people still complain.

The guy has no heart man. I am all for a superstar being on our team but I would rather go after Howard than Carmelo. Carmelo isn't going to be traded anyway so I do not understand how this is a "rumor"

Lol, I won't do 1 to 1 deal with Scola for Gasol, considering Gasols poor performance and monster contract.

sooooo many great options playing third wheel sending Pau to Minnie.... we could nab Pekovic and have a good youngish center... prob cost us Scola/Dragic/Bud/NY pick...

I'd love to get Gasol but that won't be enough. We'll need a PG to replace Kyle.

If we could get Rondo, Nash or Deron Williams AND Gasol then I'd be all for it but I just don't see it happening.

Pau is a great 4 but adding him and losing Kyle and Luis does not upgrade us much if at all.

Tired of Morey's attempts to rent an All Star. Howard's after endorsements and prestige. Houston doesn't provide those, not on the level he'd get if he simply walked in the summer into NJ's cap space.
