I really believe Rubio will develop into a all-star caliber player in a couple of years, but even as Timberwolves fan would I have said I want to build a team around him. He has made a difference for the Wolves though...

I'd start with several PGs over Ricky "35%" Rubio.

why? are you looking for Rubio to be a scorer, he shoots less and doens't look to score so his low percentage is almost much less of an impact or an issue. Its not like hei s taking 20-30 shots and is a chucker. The reason why they chose him(wouldn't players be pissed if a guy is shooting so low, no they know his role and understand basketball) he controls and offense and gets it to people in tehir shots and creates opportunities. He is a smart, heady defender and hei s only 21 and has Vet maturity. That is pretty solid to build on, but yea a guy who you don't rely on scoring or doesn't shoot much shooting 35 is a reason to choose other guys......

Yes, if starting a team from scratch.... I want someone as old as Kobe or Nash as my starting piece... or injury prone as CP3, Bynum or Gordon.

    100% agree.

    100%!

If Rubio was black you guys probably wouldn't even know who he is. This board is absolutely infatuated with non-black players. Its been that way since Langhi.

That's garbage. I know who Damian Lillard is very well, so well that I would draft him in the lottery if Davis (black), Sullinger (black), Robinson (black), and Barnes (black) are gone and before either of the Zeller boys who I feel are JAPS (just another player). Oh, my sleeper in the 2nd round.....Scott Machado (black).

Stop with all the black white bull....please, just stop.

The truth is if Rubio was an American black this board would be rocking him harder than the fact that he is a Spaniard. This board has a bias against non-American players, and it's mostly justified since the best basketball in the world is played here.

Why would anyone choose Eric Gordon? Players must have been asked to list their top 5 players or something, and then they assigned points depending on how they were ordered.

Last ditch effort by Stern to pump up Gordon's trade value?

Where's Lowry? I mean, this board has him over Rondo and he's on the list. Players are stupid, should listen to CF.net

    WHERE'S T-WILL???

I agree because some of these picks make no sense.

But, I think it's interesting to see which teams have two: Miami (James, Wade, but no Bosh), Lakers (Kobe, Pau, and Bynum, though those are dumb picks), and Clippers (Paul, Griffin). Chicago, OKC, Minnesota only have one each.

Yea kobe is too old to be on this team. I would've gone with Dwight if it hadn't been for all the new info on his weak mentality(doesn't want the coach to scream at him, etc).
So I choose Kevin Durant 1 A. Derrick Rose 1B.

It would be interesting to see how many votes these guys get. I would not be surprised if Lebron and Dwight gets 80% of all votes.
