Look, if you miss the playoffs in a league where more teams make the playoffs than don't, you earn "suck." We haven't made the playoffs for 2 straight seasons...and right now we're on the brink of missing for a 3rd. That's pitiful, particularly for a franchise with this kind of history. Too many years missing the playoffs over the last 15 years or so.

You need players that contribute to wins in order for that to happen. Probably has something to do with production on the court which translates to stats... I don't know.....

Oh I mean, Jordan was great because of his overall talent. It had nothing to do with the 6 of titles he won.

I know, he just overreacts on the word "suck" so I wanted to say mediocre to show him the point of the reactions here. But yes, suck is a better description.

You can't go to the Finals with average talent and sometimes not even make the 8th seed with average talent.

I think the game's turning point was when McHale chose to let the his players play out of the slump down the stretch. If this team is a playoff caliber team, they can't continue to choke away leads down the stretch. As much as Dragic help this team to OT, he simply over dribbled every time he has the ball which whines up the team needed to take a desperation shot. i felt that McHale needed to get Martin back into the game simply for offensive reasons.

eh...everything is relative. relative to the league you're playing in at that time. after 82 games, typical season, you know what the hell you are by your record relative to the other teams in the league.

Why wasn't parsons in the game more, seriously! He is better than lee but yet lee struggling with shot you leave him in...in college parsons was a big time clutch shooter, one of the best but yet in ot against clippers and now celtics he gets no time

The usage of "sucking" is just frustration that builds up when a fan has to watch their favorite team be operated within the definition of insanity. The past 3 years we've tried to do the same thing with the same result: playing undersized, safe, high I.Q., low athleticism players without high ceilings. AVERAGE is this franchise and team. Something has got to give!

Well I was the only person wearing red and cheering for the Rockets tonight. Crazy game and I wish Rockets held the lead... The rotation was extremely weird tonight but I understand why K-mart was put out of the game since he was not hitting anything even during warm ups.

If anybody looks at the replays, I'm the only one in red on the top left of the screen on the Rocket's end of the court during the second half.

I don't know, I don't think we are mediocre. I think we a young improving team that needs to be more consistant to be taken seriously.

That's just it! This is an average team that has played it's best with the current players it has. There is no "young improving team". I'd be way more understanding if this was an up and coming team. Of the guys that play the most significant minutes, only Parsons(23) and Patterson(22) are young.
    -Dalembert 30
    -Scola 31
    -Martin 29
    -Lowry 25
    -Lee 26
Lowry is in his prime but everyone else are either past or have reached their mediocre potential.

Come on now, 25 and 26 are young by ANY NBA writer, GM, or coach's definition. I don't necessarily think that we're an up and coming team either, but we could be if Martin and Scola were turned into youth quickly (not that I advocate for that either; but it would be a young team in that case).

Since when is 25-26 old?? Even Martin at 29 is not old!

"There is no young improving team" what the hell?? That's such a stupid comment! I can't even comprehend how ignorant that statement is!

Dalembert had 17 rebounds tonight. Wish he would do that every night

    Completely agree.

Which is one of the reasons I don't follow the NBA as much as I used to. So many crappy teams make the playoffs.

This team is falling back to Earth, after temporarily overachieving.

I think the playoffs should consist of only the teams with the best records in the league period.

I'll give you that 25-26 aren't really old, that's basically at the beginning of the prime but Kevin Dallas Martin Jr. is old in this league. I mean this as in I don't see this guy getting any better. When you get around 30 in the NBA your essentially who and where you are in the hierarchy of the league. Your closer to the end then the beginning.

And please tell me how this team is "young and improving"?? Aside from Lowry where is the basis for your initial statement??
