if Peyton wants to come here he should accept a minimum contract so we can re-sign mario

    manning
    foster
    johnson
    new wide receiver

schaub backing up in case manning goes down.

Schaub backing him up would just be wasting Schaub's talent. Instead, trade Schaub and get Brandon Marshall from Miami.

trade Schaub to Washington for their #1 pick, he already knows Kyle Shanahan's offense

Lmao!!! It's amazing how y'all go back and forth with these hypothetical situations involving Peyton Manning.

    HE IS NOT COMING HERE.

If he comes here i'll donate 20 bucks to the tip jar.

Does it bother you that we're speculating? Isn't that what's supposed to happen on a message board?

No, but y'all get way too carried away. Just let it play out and see what happens.

If you build it, they will come

Wouldn't it be awesome for Peyton Manning to sign with his division rival, the Houston Texans? I mean all these years he managed to find a way to beat us and if you can beat them, why not join em? Peyton should be jumping with joy to leave Indy and possibly hop on playoff team. He ain't going to any team that is just looking to rebuild....hes wanting to win that elusive 2nd championship that his brother just won. Now, he would get to play twice a year against the Colts and stick it to old Jimmy boy. He probably has three good years left him is body before really needs to retire. You can never have enough depth at any position espically QB. The Texans are SUPER BOWL contenders so please Peyton Manning come take us to the promise land. The time is now!!

if he's truly healthy, he's an upgrade to Matt Schaub. but don't kid yourself. Peyton Manning is the Atlanta Braves of the NFL and no guarantee of championships. One and done is the norm.

Was that really Manning's fault though?

This season has demonstrated he was playing with a subpar roster.

This post coming from someone named "The Realist" is lol. Peyton will be one of the highest paid players in the league upon signing his new contract. Even if the Texans considered him they couldn't afford him.

so Peyton is afforded the excuse of having a subpar roster. it's a team game, right? yet Schaub gets crucified for not being able to overcome the worst defense in nfl history.

Sign Manning and Reggie Wayne, trade Schaub for Redskins first.

Mind is so blown I can't even further speculate on who we could draft with those two #1s.

Right, the Redskins would do that instead of signing Manning themselves....
