I love the tags. Especially "armpit of the devil". A great description IMO.

Looks like the Highland lakes will finally get some much needed significant rain.

Upper-Level Cutoff Low: Impulses out of the Southwest will eject and move into the area shown by the red box. Impulses will work with tremendous low-level moisture to bring multiple bouts of heavy rain to the Ark-La-Tex region.

Locally, where training thunderstorms develop, rain amounts could exceed 8 inches.

When is that supposed to happen?? I didn't see anything about that. I haven't been watching local weather in past few days.

Looks like 1-2 inches is possible for Houston!

One thing that I do not like about wet weather is MOSQUITO GALORE. :(

Looks like the mosquitoes will be making a comeback. This state needs the water so its either them or drought lol.

Still an early prediction, but I'm liking it.

    Flood Worries for Mid-South

Torrential downpours later this week could signal the beginning of the end of the Texas drought. But too much could lead to major flash floods.

Once again I say.........after the Summer of 2011, there is no such thing as "too much rain" as far as I'm concerned. 6 months ago, we were all PRAYING for flash flooding.

    Bring. It.

At least we're not on water restrictions anymore, though not sure if my young pecan tree is going to recover this spring, might have lost it.

Not looking forward to this summer if it's anything like the last one. My wife and I aren't taking any chances. We booked this Alaskan cruise to go up and see Denali and escape once the 100+ hits again. Hopefully thoughts of Alaska will keep us cool for the rest of the time.

Nice, didn't know there were areas out of the drought.

This weekend should bring quite a few more counties.
