The problem with Limbaugh is that his show is nothing comedic at all. It's a bunch of jabbing at President Obama and vomiting out the word "conservative" or "conservatism" as many times as possible. He wants to be taken seriously. He wants people to discuss what he says around the dinner table. Now when he gets caught saying something over the line, he retreats back to the "I'm an entertainer" or "I made a dumb joke." You can't have it both ways Rush. In all honesty, I think he doesn't believe 75% of what he spews. He wants ratings, as do all pundits that skew either way. Things that aren't funny Rush: 1. Violent rhetoric: Spoiler "I tell people don't kill all the liberals. Leave enough so we can have two on every campus--living fossils--so we we'll never forget what these people stood for." The list goes on and on with discrimination against minorities, minority religions, urban lifestyle, feminism/women's rights... The world would be a better place without idiots like this having a microphone. I guess some people just love to hate:

Wow way to take things out of context and not having a sense of humor. That was obviously a joke (didnt say it was a good one) and in response to someone elses post. It was someone else that first used the words dip and wick and not me. If you read my other post I clearly stated this issue has nothing to do about Fluke or Rush but everything to do about politics. My personal opinion on the matter is Fluke is using this to exploit every bit of media attention she can. This is further evident in her dismissal of Rush's appologizes. She wants the media spotlight to remain on her. She made some outrageous claims that Rush disagrees with, Rush calls her a slut, media blows it out of porportion, Obama gets involved, everyone calls for Rush's head and Fluke exploits matter further. It's all quite stupid so I rather just make light of it. The only reason you attacked me is because I have different views than you and that's just pathetic. You have been on the internet and this msg board long enough to know whenever someone posts a picture of any women here the jokes are along the lines of "would hit" and "would not hit". I am almost certain everyone here saw my post as a joke except crazy people like you who have nothing better to do but troll threads at and find every opportunity to personally attack someone who has different views than you. It's really quite pathetic you know? You know nothing about me, my educational background or my professional career. Anyways I have wasted enough time on you. Well, to be fair to sunsrocketsfan... she is not what we would call drop dead gorgeous. She has some manly features, which is just fine. Attack him for making more sex-related jokes, I guess, but not for being afraid of intelligent women. I don't think that's the point.

Well one thing I actually learned on here is not to take politics too seriously and let it affect my personal well being. When I first started posting here i was caught up in the whole conservative talk radio which got me pretty fired up. Till I realized it's all pretty pointless and just cauing me to be angry at the other side. I stopped listening to political talk shows and find them quite annoying now. I guess it's important to care about our country and everyone wants to help steer it in the right direction but I just find a lot of this back and forth bickering pointless. At the end of the day I'll always have more conservative views but what really matters is just enjoying life with your family, friends and significant others Okay I know corny and puke worthy.:grin: Well for everyone that gets so fired up on this board on what someone else posts or says ask yourself this.. does it really matter? How does it even affect you on how someone else thinks? I don't undertand how some people can get so pissed off and riled up over another persons post. People are going to have different views and no amount of arguing and name calling is going to change that. But then again I guess people also find some satisfication, entertainment and pleasure in name calling and trying to so call PWN smoeone else on an issue. So if thats your case thats cool. I guess most people post to pass time, have a discussion, and be entertained.
