Why don't we get right to calling them "3-D" guys and cut to it

Courtney lee is great but he is not better than Martin. He cannot create his own shot, and is not going to beat many off the dribble. He is a slasher/spot up shooter. That's it. The only thing he does better than Martin is rebound and play D. Martin is 10X the scorer Lee is.

overrated defensively? please, that is the problem with researching too many statistics. If you watch Rockets games with your own eyes you will see that Lee is in fact a very good and not overrated defender.

Let Martin team up with a big that can score and Martin will light it up...you can find guys who play D like lee but it's not as easy finding a scorer like Martin..sure he is having a down year for whatever reason who knows but the fact is Martin is a guy who can drop 30 points on any givin night efficiently..I hope we can get a talented big who can score and are able to keep Martin...had he made that shot people would've been all over how great he played

Give Lee the starting role/minutes and you will see his confidence soar and his numbers go up

Exactly. I wanted Lowry in that situation and id take Lee in this one too. Just hope we get some good value for Martin if he does go

IMO, Lee is a very good 1-on-1 defender against the quicker, smaller SGs or PGs. A good defensive option against a Derek Rose, John Wall, or Chris Paul, for example. Against bigger wings, he's much less effective. He also doesn't help much in the boards or the steals department.

do you want another 14th seed? because thats what Adelman did with it 2 years in a row. He took a top 5 lottery team to the brink of the playoffs because he is a HOF coach.

Now I hope Les realises that you can build NYK styles with consecutive lottery picks and let Morey tank.

fixed!! But I do believe that the team would be better if Lee started. That's why Martin needs to go. Hopefully things will change by the deadline or we will end up with the 14th pick once again.

right but against bigger wings, we have parsons

also, not many shooting guards are big on the boards in the first place, especially not Martin, whom Lee backs up. Steals are great, but so are defensive stops, 24 sec shot clock violations, and bad shots.

Yeah we need to lock Lee up. Trading Ariza for him was as good a move as signing Ariza was bad.

Lee needs to keep starting, let Martin be the shooter off the bench.

    CL, the GREAT

Holy crap this guy is good...

why hasnt he ever gotten stater minutes? This dude is efficient and to me, he is THE GREAT.

Is there a waiver trade system like the MLB? If so, lets get rid of Martin, the BAD.

That's really the main reason I was so excited about the vetoed trade when I still thought it was going through

Trade Martin this offseason for ANYTHING. Give Courtney Lee the money, and years he wants. I would say 3-5 years at 7-9 million would be fair, but pay the man what he wants. Love me some Courtney lee. It's refreshing to see hustle, and heart from our starting SG. Haven't seen that all season

yes he will be a RFA!! really hope they pay the man and get rid of Martin in the off-season or have him coming off the bench since Martin will be going into his final year of his contract.
