Love the pic - and the lack of your understanding makes it all the funnier.

But what can you expect from a 17 year old.

Face it DD. Your logic was just plain stupid.
You guess on everyone and vehemently defend your picks to the death while acting like a smug ******* when you eventually get one right.
Your lack of understanding is the topic here. How you fail to see you are a "volume shooter".

What logic are you referencing, kid?

I was right on everyone in that picture, but at 17, I doubt you are experienced or knowledgeable enough to understand the nuances of the conversations we adults were having.

Now go to school child, learn something, become a man, and don't be a burden on those of us people that are successful tax paying adults.

You make good points. I'll just say that Terrence Williams didn't help his case with some of his off-court antics. Not sure how he's been in terms of interacting with coaches and practicing hard throughout the year. I also would have liked him to get more looks just so we can salvage something out of that 1st round pick we gave up, but if he's not holding up his end of the bargain its hard for me to be totally in his corner.

T-Will was not impressive tonight, but he deserves playing time. The shots just weren't falling. He brings a lot more intangibles to the game than Bud.

The only problem i have with Williams now is he needs starters minutes to really be effective. As a matter of fact, you could say that for all of the '09ers. That just won't happen here without a trade to clear up playing time.

    Good stuff.

What you have to remember is the head that was photoshopped off to put in VSpan and Aaron was none other than RAFER ALSTON.

And the head that was photoshopped off to put in Von Wafer was none other than LUTHER HEAD.

And the head that was photoshopped off to put in Budinger was none other than TREVOR ARIZA.

I'll take those 4 guys over Rafer, Rafer, Luther, and Trevor any day.

DD was right about all of them.

What they all have in common is they were serious upgrades to their predecessors.

I dont really think u can call Bud and upgrade to Ariza... much friendlier contract... but if Ariza was on our roster he would probably start vs DNP for Bud.... and I think Rafer had a bit more NBA impact than VSpan... although he did net us Scola....

LOL little understanding? It is basic logic. He is on our roster, he is earning playing time in practice, he gets playing time. Who cares if he is gone or if we retain even. So McHale should not play him because we declined his option? That does not even make sense.

Despite us declining his option (which is the right move business wise given the fact that he has shown nothing so far), it is still possible for us to retain him (if he wants to come back here and would if he continues to get minutes).

Visionary? How is the DD team doing?

Ariza was trouble and Bud was an upgrade. Time has proven VSpan was/is a superior player to Rafer, even without netting us Scola. And that was the focus when we were pumping VSpan so hard, getting Rafer out and getting a better PG in. Van Gundy messed up VSpan.

You're not going to disprove the discussion back then. It's all documented. And if you are a long-time fan, you know how tortured we all were watching Rafer sling up 2 for 13s and how most of us could see the upward potential of VSpan, who incidentally was blasted for his shooting but has turned out to be a very, very good shooter, much better than Rafer ever was, not to mention an assist machine in Europe, overall, a top-notch PG in Europe for many seasons now.

The pic was funny. But it doesn't tell the whole story. DD has been a lot more right than he has been wrong. I'm not defending him but at least he's got the kahonas to put it out there. Some of you posters just criticize what everybody else writes without offering up any solutions or siding in with what could be better. Poopoo on you. DD was right about all those players.

    You are right.

Lets fire Morey and McHale and hire DD as GM/Coach.

Get that lineup of VSpan/Brooks/Wafer/Bud/Scola and start winning championships.

    DO IT LES!
