scola always brings it hes a baller great on the offensive end and was great on the defensive end tonight though hes nt a gd defender he tries by gettin charges and doing the small things ppl have to realize hes undersized and lacks athleticism but hes such a great player on the otherhand martin deserves to get shot
Just read up on the amnesty clause. I remember reading something about $20 million of Scola's contract being non-guaranteed. It does not make sense for Les to pay these salaries if all it means is having him come off the books and not counting towards the LT: 13 - $9,408,207 14 - $10,224,622 15 - $11,041,037 If we amnesty Scola in the off-season does that mean the Rockets do not pay his salary in 2014 and 2015?
not sure if les would have to pay it or not...but the important part is, it woulnd't count against the cap
Hey I called out the plays where he made a fool of himself and hurt the team. The flopping, crappy post moves and not boxing out. He stepped up late but too little too late.
He got angry when Blake landed on him after that one BS call. Good to see Scola gettin pissed it seems to work for him.
He is actually having his usual numbers again. Looks like he is as good as he always was last year. Last few games averaging over 16 points and 9 rebounds.
Common sense says that as times goes by, he should be getting closer to last year performance. This season tight schedule due to lockout didn't help his total recovery, but for playoffs, he should be at his best shape again.
It isn't what this thread is about, but just to humor me, do you consider Blake Griffin to be a superstar?
Let's just rest the case before it gets comical. One more thing Trade Scola threads exist mainly because of his value, his 10 million contract rather than anything else. Fact: He played sub par in the first 20 games of the season, average PER of 13 and earlier even 12. Now he is playing better. I don't get this thread anyway.
I dont understand why some people are so negative aboaut Scola If a good trade is coming i'm ok with that. but since them i'm very happy watching Scola playing for us. Yesterday he clearly win the battle agains an All Star like Griffin and again he has only 2 years left (guatentee) in his contract
He was that night, but two night before he let a rookie put up 16 pts. 11 rebs against him.... Like the OP said he showed passion and fire tonight he needs to bring it consistently.
