anytime a player puts up more than 50 points in a game, that's special, how many players have done that, i bet even if you give lowry the chance, he won't be able to score that many points on the bobcats....
Interesting read on scoring 50 points! http://www.nba.com/2009/news/features/steve_aschburner/11/16/50on50/ I was curious on how many players have scored 50+ points in the NBA
I was surprised to learn that the nets' old team scoring record was shared by a former rocket, mike newlin with 52.
He is gradually returning to his superstar role. First half of the season was more of a borderline allstar.
My best friend is a nets fan, and as an Aussie I don't have many nba supporting friends so we take an interest In Each others teams. I have watched a share n nets games this season and d-wills work rate is amazing. The guy plays in such a bad team that he literally dribbles the ball down, passes it off and works his tail off to make the appropriate cuts to get an open shot. Freak
Yeah but can he Lin? I still have mixed feelings about him because of his affiliations with the Jazz in previous years. He, Boozer, and Okur used to burn our players on the offensive end.
Yeah, I watched a little bit of the Nets here and there and I felt bad for DWill. He was doing everything. Trying to set up his teammates before having to break everything down and take it himself.
We as Rocket fans should know more than most people how good he is. He is just stuck on a really crap team. Humphries is decent but Brooks is young/inexperienced/inconsistent, Lopez is soft, bench has a couple of nice pieces but overall not great. Kinda hoping he does end up in a nice situation.
I never hated Williams. I severely underrated him though. Top three PG. Rose, Williams, Rondo (he's effective even without a jumpshot).
