    I watched the game.
I'm consider it impressive compared to what he's done in the past.
Sure he missed shots but his decision making is a lot better than before, minus a few boneheaded plays.

Everytime he drove to the basket it was just embarassing. the way u creat plays is being able to score and draw defenders to open up other platers, not put up horrible shots so they KNOW they dont have to cover u.

T-Will just got sent to the wrong team. He needed a team where he could play 35 minutes a game, do his point forward schtick night in and night out, learn, and gain confidence. I wonder if it might be too late for him now. He's not well-suited to being a roleplayer.

Seem like T-Will was playing all by himself once he gets the ball no matter if he shoots or pass... seems like he plays a game different from the rest of the team.

    "very impressive"
compared to ?? what he did in a preseason game? garbage time?

my version of "very impressive" was not what T Will did against the Clippers

"very impressive" was Courtney Lee's defense

Was at the game tonight and I feel Twill did okay considering his lack of playing time. You could tell he was pressing to try and make something good happen. I really think dude wants to perform good for this team and organization. I think he gets to caught up in the showtime stuff and what people say about his potential. If he just settled down and played ball I think his mistakes would be at a minimum. You can tell he is a free spirited happy go lucky kid trying to find his way. Does he need to work harder and grow up a little more? In my opinion yes. I think he eventually gets there with more playing time though(will it be with rockets remains to be seen). Plus dude is not a scorer he is a facilitator who can score.

We need to keep courtney lee around aslong as possible, if given the chance I think he can become a better scorer then Martin, he is one talented defender also... Just my opinion tho

Im glad T-Will got a shot to play, seems like he didnt have 14 mins total all season. Hopefully the trend continues and he continues to work hard.

he looked okay for a guy who played a few minutes this season. I'm not happy with his shot selection. I rather him try and take it to the basket instead of trying to hit jumpers because jumpers aren't his thing. At least it doesn't look like it, I don't know what goes on in practice.

    I still think he's a bit wild.

Is it just me or does twill/dragic not pass to eachother? Somebody said lowry kind of steps aside also when twill has the ball, but honestly i may have not paid enough attention. IMO dragic could be twills savior, they're similiar payers in the sense that they need the ball. But if one is having an off night, the other can pick up the slack. I think twill is the kind of player you need to let the offense run through, pretty much like a pg. Only negative is we are stacked at the 2. He can create, but what else can he do?

if he gets more pt he needs to shoot more, because if his shots are falling he will most likely get more pt. Although, if hes having an off shooting night(like tonight) he needs to let the PG's go to work or create for others. I think he is playing a bit timid, because he doesnt know his future with the rockets yet and expectations are unusually high for a player with such little pt.(twill or thype?) So he has a lot to prove, and is still adjusting to the court. These adjustments will take time, but is it time the rockets are willing to give to him. This is where the lockout hurt us, having no time to develope talent and effectively integrate them. It seems he is going to have to practice hard and learn it himself if he wants that spot. From a coaching perspective, you cannot risk developing an unproven player when you know you have small room for error if you want to squeeze into the playoffs.

i didnt see his last game, which i heard was unsatisfactory. But from what i saw tonight he played alright. More useful than bud on one of his off shooting nights IMO, but i think that it really comes down to match up whenever mchale has to decide who to put in between bud and twill. Bud has size advantage on twill and more experience. Twill should use this transitional period of the coaching staff to his advantage because players are more on a level playing field as players have to learn the coaches new system etc.

As for his performance tonight ill give him a C. His shooting was off, one shot in particular that makes me think he is playing nervous was when he passed up an open shot for a jumper. Clyde said this also. He created which was a positive, and could have had more assists but people were missing easy shots tonight.

All in all, i like twill. BUT i think he will be waived.(i hope not) he joined the rockets at the wrong time. Had we had a summer camp, i bet you he could have earned a spot on the roster. It just seems like he is really that talent that has to have the ball. you have to time to work on players like him. Time, i dont think the rockets have to be risking during the season.

    gl twill practice hard

I am asking myself what is the ROLE that the Rockets envisioned for him....
    scoring, defending? .....
    that is quite a mystery

Well the 32 points through 3 quarters was extremely impressive. Nobody denies that.

It was after which didn't impress anybody.

Yeah, Williams is a facilitator. And the team has yet to put him in a comfortable role and let him build confidence. They took a gamble on a guy they refused to play....

Tonight had to be a showcase. It is too late to see what he's got now. Barring a dramatic change in his time and role, he is outta here. Hope they at least pick up a 2nd round pick for him at the deadline. Hopefully, he will blossom somewhere.

I wonder if the "He practiced hard" bit is suggesting he was not practicing hard before?
